This is your secret reminder to take one deep breath before you answer a call"
Or in the case that nobody will call you, let out a sigh every time you look at your phone wishing someone would.
=( - Barackalypse, on 04/29/2009, -0/+9Best tip: Learn to let go (alternatively stop caring about the outcome). The sooner you acknowledge that either you can't have any positive impact, or that the outcome is ultimately irrelevant in the scheme of the universe, the sooner you can become a bemused observer and find the humor that pervades this modern life.
- alex7575, on 04/29/2009, -2/+8My blood started to boil when I realized I hadn't even made a quarter way through the stupid list...
- harrythe3rd, on 04/29/2009, -3/+7420 ways!
- RadiatedAnt, on 04/29/2009, -0/+3I go running and lift weights, it only works if you get your fat ass out of the chair.
- dre33, on 04/28/2009, -1/+4Good article lately i have a lot of stress in my life.
- ProfessorRiffs, on 04/29/2009, -0/+2My list of internal stress-control mechanisms consists of 2 things:
1. Thinking rationally
2. Not caring about *****
It can really be as simple as that. I follow these two rules, and my life is pretty damn good. Works for me, anyway. - worldorder, on 04/29/2009, -0/+2Everyone join MMA, Muay-Thai, BJJ, etc... then just punch or challenge the people that stress you out. Its a lot of fun!!
- demooo, on 04/29/2009, -1/+3'25. Have Sex
Either with or without a partner. An orgasm releases beta-endorphins, the body's natural, less punk-rock version of heroin, so you'll definitely be feeling no pain, says Nuccitelli. '
Only way I control stress. O, and the without part. - u8myfoood, on 04/29/2009, -1/+3Has your hand consented to this activity?

Now someone else's kid is screaming on a crowded airplane? And the mom is too wrapped up in this week's People to do a thing about it? Let it go, says Carl Thoresen, Ph.D., a psychologist at Stanford University. Realizing that you can't control someone else's behavior is difficult, but it's one of the best ways to destress."
This is probably the single biggest reason my stress level is so low. I don't take things personally most of the time and find it incredibly easy to brush things off. In my experience people who have the highest stress levels are those who complain all the time and must have everything perfect. Chill out dude. - inactive, on 04/29/2009, -0/+1I bet those there are about 52 needs to control your life that got you into that stress... Just let go, stop thinking, start breathing > stress cannot survive
- chuckDontSurf, on 04/29/2009, -1/+2*Adds 'MUST CONQUER STRESS!!!' to my growing 'To Do' list*
- joshblufs, on 04/29/2009, -0/+1de- stress ur mangina
- pygeek, on 04/29/2009, -0/+1Take a break, sit back, and drink a warm cup of tea - one of the many ways I deal with stress.
- v1rotate, on 04/29/2009, -0/+1If only I got to use those 700 minutes a month...
- Grueslayer, on 04/29/2009, -0/+1Mine is play violent video games to reduce stress and anger. A few minutes of killing pixels goes a long way to a stress free life.
- PatrickX, on 04/29/2009, -0/+1I'd be a lot less stressed in that situation if I just called the mom out and she made her kid stop.
- GrayJet, on 04/29/2009, -0/+1Why control and conquer when you can Command & Conquer?
- uevan, on 04/29/2009, -1/+2What the hell? I was sure "kill hooker" would at least be in the top ten
- inactive, on 04/29/2009, -0/+1Two words - Midget bowling
- rollerskatenate, on 04/29/2009, -0/+0should be one more thing added to that list...
- notashighasyou, on 04/29/2009, -0/+0paranoia is just a sign that you haven't smoked enough

- RadiatedAnt, on 04/29/2009, -1/+1marijuana tea?
- worldorder, on 04/29/2009, -1/+1I just take Muay-Thai and BJJ classes to cope with stress. Great place to get a good workout, hit the heavy bag, hit a few people and get hit. Getting beatup in class is humbling!! But winning a few sparring matches puts you on cloud 9!!
Then if there are people in your life that give you stress - ask them for a fight or tell them to shut-up. Trust me its amusing watching their reactions.
I noticed people are a lot nicer to you at work when they know you can smoke them. Even the hot heads at work will develop new kinder attitudes. - worldorder, on 04/29/2009, -2/+1Forget that - Just take up fighting for stress relief. I smoked Marijuana, weed, chronic, etc.. for many years. It makes you lazy. Its crap!!
- FuzzplugJones, on 04/29/2009, -1/+0People who think that stressed people can "just chill out" make me even more stressed. If we could we would. We'd kill to be able to do it. But anxiety is sometimes a mental illness. It's like saying, "hey man, stop having cancer."
- liquidsg, on 04/29/2009, -4/+354. Jizz in your pants.
- MikaStar, on 04/29/2009, -3/+2I'm going to cut out the ***** and introduce you to the one way to destress: Marijuana.
- kevincredible, on 04/29/2009, -3/+1until the paranoia starts setting in.
- liquidsg, on 04/29/2009, -3/+1Except for the occasional time you trip out, get real paranoid, tell all your friends that you are gonna die and then drown your sorrows in a large bag of potato chips.
- mrpunman, on 04/29/2009, -2/+0I'm not stressed goddamnit!
