- inactive, on 07/07/2009, -0/+4Yeah, this was kind of a letdown.
- inactive, on 07/07/2009, -0/+4Buried for calling pokemon stupid *****!
- immatellyouwhat, on 07/07/2009, -0/+3I can give that to them free, just give me their pillows and a dozen Jack in the Box Tacos.
- immatellyouwhat, on 07/07/2009, -0/+2It means your soul is full of doodoo...
- jhbarr, on 07/07/2009, -0/+2The hearing aids are cool, but how would you get them out and I hope they are waterproof.
- freeridstylee, on 07/07/2009, -1/+3None that enlarge genitals hundredfold? Weak.
- copypastry, on 07/08/2009, -0/+2Well yeah, but in a clinical capacity...
Cochlear regeneration involves 30+ kinds of cells, not just hair cells and neurons. Still, good stuff.
Also, microinjection of stem cells + growth factors is promising but it also causes trauma to intact hair cells.
10 years away, I guess I can wait. - jhbarr, on 07/08/2009, -0/+2Ring, ring...
http://www.telegraph.co.uk/scienceandtechnology/sc ... - lebruf, on 07/07/2009, -0/+2The thing that bothered me with the our current hair replacement procedures (a la Bosley) was the limited supply of donor follicles. Overcoming this will make it a no-brainer decision for all sorts of unlucky guys who long for their sexy 17 year-old manes.
The tooth filling thing, also a huge fan. Seriously, who likes foreign objects in their mouth? - sybont, on 07/07/2009, -0/+2As someone who started losing his hair way too early, I will definitely be on board for the hair treatment. I've gotten comfortable with balding, but there's just something the world likes better about a full head of hair.
- Kahlim, on 07/07/2009, -0/+2The "PLUS" article in the related stories is way more interesting: http://www.popularmechanics.com/science/health_med ...
- iNvidious02, on 07/07/2009, -0/+2There is a bug about 1.5mm in size which can be inserted into your body to deliver medicine directly, its self powered and can crawl through your veins.
Thats next gen, not changing your eyes pink - mimigins, on 07/07/2009, -0/+2Man... that's ridiculous. Implants in your eyes for color? I'm considering getting my eyes altered ONLY because I can't see worth crap. There's no way I'd possibly lose my vision over an eye color.
- AutoTom, on 07/07/2009, -0/+1I didn't know medical procedures came in 'generations'..
- freshgrease, on 07/07/2009, -0/+1Next thing you know, she'll have pink hair.
- jestro, on 07/07/2009, -0/+1Will it have motion control and 1080p?
- borez, on 07/07/2009, -0/+1Nah, it won't catch on, I know an albino girl with pink eyes and it's not a good look to be honest.
- anonymousmedic, on 07/07/2009, -0/+1Motoko Kusanagi likes your idea.
- copypastry, on 07/08/2009, -0/+1I mean... pardon? I didn't hear the ringing.
:X - copypastry, on 07/08/2009, -0/+1Call me when they can regrow ***** cochlear cilia.
