- AlwaysAwake, on 05/07/2008, -1/+14To save the teeth, save the gums first. You'll never regret whatever time, effort, and money it takes. Talk to anyone with dentures, and they'll tell you how much they miss those real teeth.
- molliann, on 05/07/2008, -0/+5I know young people -- 25 or so -- who are starting to have major gum problems already. Always remember to floss!
- JoJones, on 05/07/2008, -8/+6"BE BRITISH. Rinsing with black tea"
Oh gross, and wouldn't this stain your teeth?- ColonelTribune, on 05/07/2008, -1/+4Hey, as long as your gums are healthy. Right, AlwaysAwake?
- CasinoJack, on 05/07/2008, -0/+15"Rinsing with black tea" Oh gross, and wouldn't this stain your teeth?
You must have a short attention span - they explained this in the very same paragra...Hey look a squirrel! - IdevInull, on 05/07/2008, -7/+2IF British had teeth....Most Brits I have known over age 25 don't have any teeth left.
- Hillsfar, on 05/07/2008, -1/+7Excellent dental health is so important. It is linked to social and financial health: your social and romantic life, getting a job and keeping it, etc. And it is linked to your own physical health, including your blood stream's bacteria and your heart. Floss, brush with toothpaste, use the tiny crevice brush tools, use mouth wash - do it often. Wear a mouth guard at night if you have a grinding problem. As a person who has learned his lessons, I would not wish my misfortune on you.
- toadinthehole79, on 05/07/2008, -0/+3Too true and I am totally with you on the mouth guard. I was getting stress lines in my teeth before I got a guard.
- ColonelTribune, on 05/07/2008, -0/+3You can get stress lines on your teeth?
- toadinthehole79, on 05/07/2008, -0/+3Too true and I am totally with you on the mouth guard. I was getting stress lines in my teeth before I got a guard.

- vcleniuk, on 05/07/2008, -3/+4AND.... Use a powered toothbrush -- they tend to remove more plaque than manual toothbrushes. At least the higher-end powered toothbrushes do.
- Sillytuna, on 05/07/2008, -0/+4Nope, untrue.
For some people they can be better than their own brushing, but it's down to technique. Little difference between higher and lower end - don't believe the marketing hype.
- Sillytuna, on 05/07/2008, -0/+4Nope, untrue.
- over900000, on 05/07/2008, -1/+3Stereotype much? Guess where she's from
http://www.encyclopediadramatica.com/Image:Magibon ... - cramming, on 05/07/2008, -5/+3I've always thought there was something stress relieving about flossing; something about ridding all that food between my gums makes me feel good. Flossing takes longer than brushing for me (I can spend between 25-45 minutes brushing and then flossing).
- ripple123, on 05/07/2008, -0/+7You better be careful. You don't wanna brush so much that it erodes your teeth. Yes. It can happen.
- Coffeedemon, on 05/07/2008, -0/+2Probably tearing up your gums pretty bad. you'll eventually push back the gumline and expose the part of the tooth below. Not necessarily the same as a cavity but it can lead to some bad sensitivity.
