- CasinoJack, on 05/07/2008, -0/+15"Rinsing with black tea" Oh gross, and wouldn't this stain your teeth?
You must have a short attention span - they explained this in the very same paragra...Hey look a squirrel! - AlwaysAwake, on 05/07/2008, -1/+14To save the teeth, save the gums first. You'll never regret whatever time, effort, and money it takes. Talk to anyone with dentures, and they'll tell you how much they miss those real teeth.
- OfNumbers, on 05/07/2008, -1/+10Real men don't need teeth.
- Threlly1, on 05/07/2008, -3/+11Hmmm, choices.
British, dodgy teeth, cultured & intelligent.
American, fat & stupid.
I mean....we are trading stupid racist stereotypes here aren't we ? - ripple123, on 05/07/2008, -0/+7You better be careful. You don't wanna brush so much that it erodes your teeth. Yes. It can happen.
- aliashandle, on 05/07/2008, -0/+6bacteria multiplies every 12 hours...
Bacteria 1: Hey! You can't multiply now!!!
Bacteria 2: Why?
Bacteria 1: Cause it hasn't been 12 hours!
Bacteria 2: ohhhhh... that's right~! My mistake!
Bacteria 1: Idiot... - dilbert, on 05/07/2008, -0/+6FTA: "...that compounds called phytochemicals found in raisins..." Phyto means plant, so you're saying that parts of plants contain plant chemicals? Wow, I never knew.
- Hillsfar, on 05/07/2008, -1/+7Excellent dental health is so important. It is linked to social and financial health: your social and romantic life, getting a job and keeping it, etc. And it is linked to your own physical health, including your blood stream's bacteria and your heart. Floss, brush with toothpaste, use the tiny crevice brush tools, use mouth wash - do it often. Wear a mouth guard at night if you have a grinding problem. As a person who has learned his lessons, I would not wish my misfortune on you.
- inactive, on 05/07/2008, -0/+5I know young people -- 25 or so -- who are starting to have major gum problems already. Always remember to floss!
- Sillytuna, on 05/07/2008, -0/+4Nope, untrue.
For some people they can be better than their own brushing, but it's down to technique. Little difference between higher and lower end - don't believe the marketing hype. - gttim, on 05/07/2008, -0/+4Don't play hockey!
- ColonelTribune, on 05/07/2008, -1/+4Hey, as long as your gums are healthy. Right, AlwaysAwake?
- ColonelTribune, on 05/07/2008, -0/+3You can get stress lines on your teeth?
- degron, on 05/07/2008, -1/+4I always brush the length of In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida every morning.
- fishpen0, on 05/07/2008, -0/+3I thought I was impressive with the live version of Free Bird...
- toadinthehole79, on 05/07/2008, -0/+3Too true and I am totally with you on the mouth guard. I was getting stress lines in my teeth before I got a guard.
- Metman, on 05/07/2008, -1/+4Shouldn't that read 'Real women don't need teeth'?
- springboks, on 05/07/2008, -0/+3Eat Chocolate and Tea. All these are contrary to what I was taught.
Chocolate = Cavities, lots of them
Tea = Stains
Pretty soon trans-fats will be good for your teeth. - epilecticgamer, on 05/07/2008, -0/+3ahahahaha
- synyster, on 05/07/2008, -3/+6not everyone in Britain drink black tea.
wanker! - inactive, on 05/07/2008, -1/+3Stereotype much? Guess where she's from
http://www.encyclopediadramatica.com/Image:Magibon ... - Coffeedemon, on 05/07/2008, -0/+2Probably tearing up your gums pretty bad. you'll eventually push back the gumline and expose the part of the tooth below. Not necessarily the same as a cavity but it can lead to some bad sensitivity.
- IPublius, on 05/07/2008, -1/+3I'm sorry, but that statement was simply retarded.
- inactive, on 05/07/2008, -4/+5Racist?
American and British are not races. - vcleniuk, on 05/07/2008, -3/+4AND.... Use a powered toothbrush -- they tend to remove more plaque than manual toothbrushes. At least the higher-end powered toothbrushes do.
- oldcyborg, on 05/08/2008, -0/+1I sure hope my dentist doesn't see this. It will set him(and Her), OFF for sure.... They really do try to help people, and this kind of thing is just not reasonable in most cases....
Cyborg - NateSikes, on 05/07/2008, -0/+0This article says to eat chocolate because of the chemicals, and yet on the same page "how to wreck your teeth" says to avoid chocolate like the plague. wtf?
- leduck8, on 05/08/2008, -0/+0"The mouth is connected to the rest of the body"
No *****. - fletchem, on 05/07/2008, -6/+5Itsch an urban miff that us Britsch have bad teef
- Metman, on 05/07/2008, -4/+3Have you been to Britain? Wow - there are a lot of missing teeth ... For that matter most of Europe, oddly with the exception of Germany...
- MatchkeY, on 05/07/2008, -2/+1I prefer to support the false teeth market..
- Threlly1, on 05/07/2008, -3/+2If I consider myself to be a 'race', I am, its that simple.
If you disagree, that's fine by me. - cramming, on 05/07/2008, -5/+3I've always thought there was something stress relieving about flossing; something about ridding all that food between my gums makes me feel good. Flossing takes longer than brushing for me (I can spend between 25-45 minutes brushing and then flossing).
- JoJones, on 05/07/2008, -8/+6"BE BRITISH. Rinsing with black tea"
Oh gross, and wouldn't this stain your teeth? - inactive, on 05/07/2008, -7/+2IF British had teeth....Most Brits I have known over age 25 don't have any teeth left.
- visionaryIX, on 05/07/2008, -9/+2Screw that. Drink fluoridated water and brush reguarly.
