- hockyfight, on 10/10/2007, -2/+3011) Play Brain Age 1 until age of 20 is accomplished, buy Brain Age 2 and play until your wife leaves you. Effectiveness complete.
- badwithcomputer, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1112) Skim everything. We put bold text in this article because we know most of you don't have the attention span to read this sentence.
- TroubleInMind, on 10/10/2007, -2/+13I admit I was fooled. When I read the description, I thought it would be something interesting from a legitimate source. Instead, it's a bunch of wanking. Don't put a knife in your head. Don't drink bleach. Don't jump off a cliff. Don't set yourself on fire...meh.
- whatthefu, on 10/10/2007, -1/+1112. Read a book.

- FiP0, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3Dugg for "Don't Outsource Your Brain. Not to media personalities, not to politicians, not to your smart neighbour... Make your own decisions, and mistakes. And learn from them."
Very true. - k1down, on 10/10/2007, -2/+4Reading that tripe, I'd say it's going to be a long hard road of hope.
- novask, on 10/10/2007, -2/+410) Laugh. Often. Especially to cognitively complex humor, full of twists and surprises. Better, try to become the next John Stewart.
Can I be the Joker instead? He seemed like a pretty great guy. - DeskFlyer, on 10/10/2007, -1/+3Put a beat to that and you'll have a hit.
- outhouseinput, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2Most of the other suggestions are on that level of accuracy. The two linked articles are the real content here, folks. Not the blog post, which is sentimental B.S.
- Pake, on 10/10/2007, -1/+2Anytime you see "# Habits of Highly Effective *insert something*, it should trigger the ***** part of your brain. In this case, it's a bunch of ***** thats worthless info with a couple interesting tidbits.

- aalivestrong, on 02/13/2008, -0/+0thank you
- lissie, on 10/10/2007, -1/+1that's one way to see it. another is to acknowledge that we world we live in today is not the one for which our brains were "optimized" millions of years ago...and that we better get them to top shape

- sigginike90, on 10/10/2007, -2/+2What kalibur said, and more:
"Stress and anxiety, no matter whether induced by external events or by your own thoughts, actually kills neurons and prevent the creation of new ones."
OOOHHHHH so all i have to do is not be stressed out!!! I NEVER THOUGHT OF THAT!!! Not that I'm a stressed person, but i think it is very rude and patronizing to present "facts" like this to convince someone it doesn't pay off to be stressed, when it is obvious that no one likes nor wants being stressed. But that some people just live with in a very stressful environment, and saying stuff like "STRESS IS UNHEALTHY" won't help their situation.
"Learn!"
Oh, I'm supposed to learn? Well after reading this internet posting I'm going to change my whole lifestyle. I mean seriously, how ***** useless is this article?
"Make new decisions, use your brain."
Hahaha, this one is by far the best...
I'm not going to continue. Why is does this have 462+ diggs...
Very pathetic - kalibur, on 10/10/2007, -1/+1Honestly, how apathetic and lazy is the human race becoming that we need tips on how to use our brain?
- outhouseinput, on 10/10/2007, -1/+1I hate this type of B.S. I mean seriously, nobody believes this stuff in real life, why should we believe it?
- mofarik, on 10/10/2007, -2/+1Interesting...
- puppycoloda, on 10/10/2007, -3/+2they misspelled jon stewart's name.

- cosmeticdentist, on 12/18/2007, -1/+0memory is very important in my job learning the names of different drugs and symptoms at dental school required a lot of revision and a good memory http://www.cosmeticdentistryguide.co.uk
- dukeochutney, on 10/10/2007, -1/+0ok, done. this is the one thing i accomplished today.
- askehazi, on 10/10/2007, -2/+0who knew that stress could kill neurons, exercise create them and "mental exercise" help them survive. go figure
- smarba, on 10/10/2007, -2/+0yeah, totally inaccurate. neurons can't be regenerated--you're born with what you have and you can't grow new ones. i don't like the biological reasoning in this article...
- Kaster, on 10/10/2007, -3/+1"Did you know that the brain only weights 2% of body mass" -Wow does it really weight that much?
"Remember that the brain is part of the body." -Good thing he reminded me, I almost forgot.
Why are you people digging this crap? - christian689, on 10/10/2007, -3/+0uhhh what does panacea mean??

I was buying it until that *****. I am apparently the singular entity that thinks that guy is a witless hack. Bring Craig Kilbourn back. If the Daily Show is a cognitively complex humor, full of twists and surprises, then this article was written by a bong.

What is Digg?
