- aa90digg, on 10/12/2007, -0/+9It cracks me up when people complain because it's "in french"
Dude, it's a video with no dialogues.
Only the title is in french.
If you cannot understand the content of that video, man I assure you, it's not because it's in french.
;) - variaas, on 10/12/2007, -0/+7saw this one before. It's a little too much intial investment. If you are that lazy, use this method. It's quicker and simpler than any method I've seen before:

- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3The teeshirt machine,
Oh the teeshirt machine.
Most amazing device that has ever been seen!
Just turn the knob,
Put in a dime.
Slide in your shirt and in ten seconds time,
Your teeshirt comes out!
See? Neat and clean as can be! - vypergts, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2I kinda want to play Mario now instead of folding laundry :P
- Bellyache5, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Let me get this straight...you hang all of your t-shirts on hangers? You must have a huge closet...
- subhuman, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2"saw this one before. It's a little too much intial investment. If you are that lazy, use this method. It's quicker and simpler than any method I've seen before:"
The blurb mentions that this is for if you didn't understand the "ninja folding technique" as he put it. The cardboard way is easier than the method you described, although I have learnt the hand way of doing it and it is faster once you have it sussed. - felchdonkey, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Funny, useful, and easy. Digg+++
I can't believe anyone could hate on this and still call themselves a geek. I'm going to start selling these on the sidewalk in SoHo, right in front of the Apple store. I'll paint it white and call it an iFolder. - DrBudro, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2+digg for the music.
- designbydave, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1digg only because of super mario world music
- cunningprose, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Digg BUT... how much is your time worth? 1. Watch the video. 2. Get the materials. 3. Watch the video again to go step by step and to measure. 4. Make it. 5. Test it. What is this... one hour past? How much do you make in one hour? The flipflod is on eBay for like $7 bucks. BUY IT if you are bored with the other useless net activities out there and if you get paid less than $7/hour. Entertainment only.
- masimunes, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1or just buy one www.flipfold.com, its what i use.
- Gflat, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Very nice link ... but in "robots"???
+digg - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1No. I already have one. Her name is Ming Li Yong Tau. She provides the personal touch.
- alexdowns, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1awesome but inconvenient to store
- sm1l3, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I have one, it is called a wife
- link470, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1*want to file lawsuit against tshirt folder guys for using Mario theme without permission*
- pritch, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Hooray for solving problems I didn't even know I had!
- CaptRR, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I could have soooo used that during basic training
- Dys>, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0They sell these things on HSN for $25 :/
http://www.hsn.com/cnt/prod/default.aspx?webp_id=2021751&web_id=2021753&sz=0&sf=&dept=&cat=&subcat=&gs=&attr=&ocm=sekw - seraph741, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0This is an old ass technique. I saw this "machine" years ago. Try the original site (not HSN) and it's only 15$. http://www.flipfold.com It's cheaper to use cardboard but this is no huge innovation.
- deathbypick, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Awsome.... Im makin one now.. haha
Finally, a proper use for all those boxes... no longer will they be needed for making tiki - huts.... Shirt folding "robots" for everyone!! haha - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Yeah, lets pay $15 for something we could probably find. Not.
Sweet digg. - fishbert, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0A dupe? Seems to be.
But that story you link to, balazs... it doesn't look like it was very successful in gaining the attention of the masses back in the day.
I must admit that it is a more handy link, being that it contains both the 'machine' and hand way of folding. - Thor, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Why waste your time building a machine? Just use your hands. Check this out: http://www.akuaku.org/archives/2004/05/art_of_tshirt_f.shtml
- docxxvi, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0great tech *cardboard for petes sake!*
but saving the lives of 11yr old tech heads from their mothers grumblings everywhere. - t3hCyborg, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0"Okay, so where is the music from? I recognize it, but can't remember what it was taken from."
It's from Super Mario Bros. for the SNES.
Anyway, I made this contraption and it works perfectly. This will be so handy when college comes around very soon. - aerius, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0http://www.flipfold.com/acatalog/
same thing but plastic.. for 15 bucks
we use these at work.. i might have to "get" one before i move to my dorm this fall - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0BTW: It is called a flip and fold
http://search.ebay.com/search/search.dll?cgiurl=http%3A%2F%2Fcgi.ebay.com%2Fws%2F&fkr=1&from=R8&satitle=flip+and+fold&category0= - dirtyfratboy, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0a machine?
more like cardboard taped together...
nonetheless digg++ - opita, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I never post comments, but this was just to funny!!!
Great link - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0or go to a 99c only store and buy one for: guess how much ? 99 cents only + state government's share. It obviously was not a big hit.
- balazs, on 10/12/2007, -2/+2i hate to say it but this is a dupe:
http://digg.com/links/The_Tee_shirt_folder_device_(video_tutorial) - synystar, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0"or just buy one www.flipfold.com, its what i use."
You actually bought that? Folding shirts is one of the easiest tasks I can think of. Ranks higher than flossing and pumping gas on the ease-o-meter. While I admit that the DIY version of this idea is pretty neat, I would never pay someone $15 for a shirt folder. - cakeofd00m, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I hate 1337sp3@k as much as the next guy but the only thing that came to mind when watching that was "That's 1337". That is the coolest thing ever. Next time I get enough cardboard I am going to definitely make one of those.
Possibly the coolest laundry related thing I have ever seen
Dugg. - gamabunta, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0All you guys argue over countries but you fail to realize the mooninites still claim "the moon rules!"
Cool machine too but I use the method in the .swf file myself. - osbjmg, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0sadly enought, I own the as seen on tv version...
- capajc, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0If you need a cardboard whatsit to fold all your t-shirts, you need to Goodwill a bunch of t-shirts. You have too many.
- Novion76, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0holy sheite! I plan to be making one for myself when I get back to my dorm
- Amplix, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0awesome i can digg it.. and the music also
Oh, and you people complaining about the language need to grow up. - watuzi, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I'm digging this ***** because I cant fold my clothes to save my ***** life. But I do know how to cut cardboard so maybe I can finally learn how to fold my own ***** clothes. But why bother, isn't that why hangers were invented.
- firehydra2k, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Wow, why haven't I thought of that? Word, I'm bookmarking this!
- MrC539, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0SMW music == dugg.
- fishgeekva, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0wow, you know people are getting lazy when they need help folding t-shirts!
- Zippo, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0That's awesome! I have to go make one now!
And Dugg for the music alone! - kartoffel, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0"Constructed almost entirely out of cardboardium alloy."
- imightbewrong, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0great digg!! wow thats kinda cool
- 404notfound, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0The Super Mario World opening track as background music brings back memories.
Oh, and nice gadget, too. - Zanturaeon, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0"I can build a machine that folds a t-shirt, but I can't fold a t-shirt."
That is really badass though. I also liked the ABS style. I shall try both. :D -
