- BlaenkDenum, on 03/04/2008, -0/+3What's so 'joke' about it? Possibly the price, but it's supposedly well made. I actually like the idea of a completely blank keyboard, it just seems cool. It's also supposedly cross platform with the meta key (windows key which works on Windows, Linux, and Mac). The click similar to that of the IBM model M's is also a nice touch.
- JDOG, on 06/30/2008, -0/+3I've got a three-year-old keyboard that's about 80% on its way to being an "ultimate" edition, and it only cost me $30.
- nitemareglitch, on 07/23/2008, -0/+2I just got mine in the mail that I had pre-ordered, and WOW, typing on it is SO freaking fantastic. I even wrote a review of it here on my site. http://1337pc.net/das/23/ BEST KEYBOARD I HAVE EVER USED!@!!!
- DaveTheDrummer, on 07/14/2008, -0/+2I've been using the original Das Keyboard for about 3 years now. It is one of the best keyboards I have ever used. Plus it's the ultimate Übergeek tool. I'm going to get one of these new ones today !
- mail4asim, on 09/09/2008, -0/+2Sorry to tell you this but you have to try the keyboard before you make such a remark. I am using the Das II keyboard right now and I tell you, it's the best keyboard I've ever had. And anyone who's ever used it, agrees with it.
- devicefailure, on 03/12/2009, -0/+1I use it and like it.
- mail4asim, on 09/09/2008, -0/+1Thank you for the review.. it was very informative..Hopefully I can use it with my Apple Macmini :)
- inactive, on 06/16/2008, -0/+1If you have ever used an IBM Selectric-type keyboard before you wouldn't wonder why they can get $130.00 for one of these. I spent about that much 10 years ago to get what was at the time called a "Northgate" keyboard with the same feel and I've used it exclusively all this time. The only reason I'm considering retiring it is that it doesn't work so well using a PS/2 - USB converter. Needless to say I've pre-ordered one of these. Most highly recommended.
- bigpook, on 06/10/2008, -1/+1how is it slightly oldschool? just asking. While I don't have one, from what I read it is well made and comes with blue cherry switches. If you have to ask, then this keyboard is not for you. But for those that appreciate a well made keyboard, the price is well worth it.
I prefer the IBM Model M's myself. Please note that I am talking about the just released Das Keyboard III found here http://www.daskeyboard.com/ - cgeier, on 06/30/2008, -1/+1thats cool
