Windows Vista on a 500 mhz Dell!

s116.photobucket.com — Windows Vista was successfully installed and runs "relatively" smooth on a 9 year old, 1999 Dell Latitude CPx with a 500mhz Pentium 3, 512MB RAM, and a killer 8MB ATI Mobility M6 graphics card. Legacy driver support in Vista is unbelievable. Why does Microsoft continue to support this outdated technology?
