  • exedor, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1I found a few hundred old disks in the back of a shed that hadnt been touched for years, blew all the dust and cobwebs from the disks, set up an old c64 and 1541-II and was _amazed_ that the drive fired up and the disks read without even a whine. Wizball and Parallax consumed by weekend... That's some robust technology, especially when considering the drive is "intelligent" in that it has its own cpu and ram.
