- flamingmb, on 10/12/2007, -0/+19I thought it was a joke when I first saw the picture.
- Byroncoughlin, on 10/12/2007, -0/+17Oh god don't sneeze.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -1/+16this post from the site sums it up:
"OMG, it's Darth Helmut!!! "
that ***** is straight out of spaceballs. it's the first thing I thought of - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -1/+14I cant stop laughing.
- Bob042, on 10/12/2007, -0/+13So, that's what it would look like if I rammed my head through the bottom of a CRT....
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+12Girl in the picture: "I find this game's lack of pixel shading disturbing."
- Linkage155, on 10/12/2007, -1/+11Holy ***** ***** that thing's huge!
- Giever, on 10/12/2007, -0/+10That game she's playing looks so fun.
"If you thought our first game was fun, just wait till you try 'Clouds 2: Return of the Nimbus'!" - valkyries, on 10/12/2007, -0/+8why Thank you :-D
- ProximaC, on 10/12/2007, -0/+7The next picture is her spine collapsing under the weight of the enormous device.
- thedak, on 10/12/2007, -0/+6bahahaha. me neither. I'm in an algebra lecture, I have about 100 people staring at me, dear lord.
- tinkafoo, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5If Pyramid Head was a computer nerd..
- echinatl, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4Now you see that evil will always triumph, because good is dumb.
- webcrumb, on 10/12/2007, -1/+4"I'm in an algebra lecture"
That's not because you're laughing. It's because you're laughing manically at your laptop. - drakethegreat, on 10/12/2007, -1/+4"consisted of a compact dome-shaped screen"
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3now it needs a scrolling marquee on the outside and to emit techno.
- tashpool, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3This has to be fake. I mean, what company could honestly look at that and give the thumbs up. I used to own a pair of IO glasses and if this is the direction companies are going, head displays are never going to take off; oh wait, they never did.
- ChileanGoD, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2And i though those blinking lcd 3D glasses made you look nerdy. With that you're in the dark side of gaming.
- Wonotch, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Marvin the Paranoid Android called. He wants his head back.
- skinner, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2The Thing Looks Like It Weighs 20 Lbs! lol
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Hell, if it put me IN to Counterstrike, I'd wear it.
- BossX, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Heh.. http://acidburn0.supereva.it/spaceballs.jpg
- webcrumb, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2My first thought was FLCL...
Then I thought that three LCD screens would probably cost the same as one screen and that thing... - zonk3r, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2looks like something daft punk would wear:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Daft_Punk - solarisom, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Does anyone think it looks like the head of the Toonami mascot TOM?
- Ademan, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1looks like she just stuck her head inside an old 16 inch tv screen and then sneezed and blew out the front.
- ChileanGoD, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Look, its ET's spacesuit helmet.
- GreenPlastik, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Is 360 degrees really necessary? Doesn't our neck limit our range of motion quite a bit?
In the less analytical department, I laughed so hard I need a change of pants. - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1First of all, its Dark Helmet, not Darth Helmet and the 360 viewing range is for augmented reality - which means it projects a virtual world over the real world - you turn, it turns. That said, I probably wouldn't wear one either, but sometimes big stupid looking things become small, functional and cool... ie the early 80s boom box vs today's iPod... fit that thing inside a couple of contact lenses and then its something I'd wait all night outside gamestop for...
- TheKrillr, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I wonder if any of you realize that... its fake. The picture, that is. Daily Mail sent in a picture of someone wearing a 25" TV that's been hollowed out and with one of those security camera balls put on instead of a screen. You know, those big black round things in the ceilings of walmart? Ya, one of those.
- alceria, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I'm sure it will be great - for Halloween.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1This device now fully equipped with twelve lead acid batteries for a full four minutes of wireless action!
- xswag, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1No Way. I can't believe they showed that monstrosity to the public. What an embarrassment.
- kLacK, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Thats what she said
- MrButthead, on 10/12/2007, -3/+4Imagine surfing pr0n with that thing.
- toxonix, on 10/12/2007, -2/+2Poor girl, someone's replaced her head with an ol' television set.
How does she breath? What if she turns her head? Sneezes?
No doubt this will show up in news stories years after it has been discarded.
Kind of like that monocycle thingummy. - JrGhoull, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0wonotch...i thought the exact same thing!!
lol so the gizmondo fails and is considered a complete joke...but this...this is serious :-P - tituskashmarek, on 10/12/2007, -3/+1why does this garbage make the front page?
