Do people who say "No digg" really thing they're breaking the submitter's heart? Why even spend the time to type that? - bariswheel, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1no digg, put a ***** quarter next to it how the ***** am i supposed to know how small it is your ***** idiots pmorons
- nihilator, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0It only stores data for 10 years? What a rip off...
- androse, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0You're right, the iDisk Diamond is smaller (27x12x1.9mm). Here's a picture : http://www.i4u.com/article4490.html
- CompIsMyRx, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Unless that is supposed to fit in lengthwise, I don't care.
- zenghost, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0oo0o easy to lose! must buy more!
- nrbelex, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I forgot to mention it's waterproof.
- meista, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I wonder how they come up with the 10 years claim? Surely they did not make the first one back in 1995 and stored something on it. I remember when CDs first came out they claimed they were built for 20 years at least - they forgot to mention that that requires a darkroom...

To prove that their E-p33ns are indeed massive, they are just bitter about their article not getting bumped to front page (oops, thats the dupe guys), they are pissed cause they got beat to a punch, or perhaps they are just morons. So many choices, it's hard to decide. - Wolfman, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0iDisk Diamond however is only available up to 128 megs, this, comes up to 2 gigs without a size increase, I digg, and I'd digg again if I could.
- RadiatedAnt, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0whats the whole point of diggs for a user? do you get a cookie or free product of what was posted if your dugg enough? I don't get it... every digg gets 2 cents deposited into his account? Is he tax exempt for next years tax return? Does the FBI...ahhh whatever... I'll digg
- recover82, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0smaller isn't always better. that thing is just asking to be broken.
- vernsan, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Funny if that guy read the title, it did say it may not be as SMALL as the Idisk Diamond. Read the damn title summary before you post PISS ***** atomictheory.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Wuts the point of the thing? There is a reaason pockets are as big as they are. It is cool that it's water proof but......................No Dig
- Tom_Riddle, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0ahhh Wolfman took the words right out of my mouth. When comparing both physical and virtual size this one takes the cake.
- bliz, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Super Stick:
39x12x2 mm = 936 mm^3
5g
256MB-2GB
min. weight/size(g/MB)=0.00244140625
min. vol/size(mm^3/MB)=0.45703125
iDisk Diamond
27x12x1.9mm = 615.6mm^3
1g
128MB
min. weight/size(g/MB)=0.0078125
min. vol/size(mm^3/MB)=4.809375
SanDisk Ultra® II SD Plus™ Card

512MB-1GB
?g
min. weight/size(g/MB)=??
min. vol/size(mm^3/MB)=1.575
Super stick is the smallest in terms of ratio of weight and volume to size, but is not the smallest in terms of volume. I think that the SanDisk Ultra® II SD Plus™ Card is the coolest though. - somana, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0.. i d like to buy it.. where is it available..??
- Hazza, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0but it still has to be as thick as thet usb plug itself so its really not that much of an advantage.
- teitoku, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Cool, it's actually smaller than mine by a few mm
- andrewr, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0thats awesome, good find
- Christophercles, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I don't see whats wrong with telling people why they didn't get a digg? It'll help them post differently next time to make their posts better?
- gregpen, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0These are just too stupid 'coz you can lose 'em that much easier ;-)
+DIGG anyway - AUGTRON, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0diameter of a quarter 24.26mm
length of the super stick 39mm
roughly .5 inch longer than a quarter and half as wide...do some math you guys
|---------------|
| |
|---------------| That's about the size of it - hanshasuro, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0AUGTRON, your ascii art is going to vary in size based on screen resolution and font size ;)
- mrfresh, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0burstlag is right. The intelligent stick has been around for years. I personally have had one for over 2 years. PQI officially announced the intelligent stick in 2002.
http://www.pqi.com.tw/milestone.asp
PQI RULES!
My credit card holder cracked though :( - carcus, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0you know what that site needs? a few more ads. WTF? they are everywhere you can barely navigate without hitting one.
- burstlag, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0There's one that's smaller than this and has BEEN AROUND FOR ***** EVER.
http://www.cyberguys.com/templates/searchdetail.asp?T1=245+0686&dept=lch36&search=1sb03&child=1sc60
I've been using these for years and they're just plain awesome for field tech support. Gotta be careful to put them in the credit-card sized holder when not using them or they get misplaced all too easy. People simply boggle when they see them for the first time and weep as their bulky oversized jump drive takes up all neighboring USB ports when plugged in. - AtomicTheory, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0HEY! I don't piss *****, if thats what you're insinuating. The fact that you said that shows that you have no grasp of human anatomy.
Now, does this make sense:
This is "The world's smallest USB stick by far" ....but I don't think it's as small as the iDisk Diamond
erm........nupe! - p014k, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0I agree w/ mark. But as for the smallest usb, its not, as androse mensioned.
- gookie, on 10/12/2007, -2/+0i need that, because the usual USB sticks are HUGE and HEAVY. thanks, no thanks.
- AtomicTheory, on 10/12/2007, -2/+0No digg, nrbelex, dude, don't claim something that you don't know to be true....ESPECIALLY when it was proven false here on digg a few days ago.
http://digg.com/hardware/iDisk_Diamond,_so_small_USB - jochex, on 10/12/2007, -4/+0the image don't show how small is it
no digg for you today.

What is Digg?
