http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm/mice_pointers/mice/devices/3443&cl=us,en - Fascist, on 10/10/2007, -0/+18I couldn't distinguish if that was sarcasm or not.
- sherifftruman, on 10/10/2007, -0/+15I was expecting a flying rodent...
- gordeaoux, on 10/10/2007, -0/+10chill dude
- championchap, on 10/10/2007, -0/+9Umm, so what about the games section?
It's ALL promotion.. but we don't care. Because it's us showing a genuine interest rather than having it rammed down our throats. - shinynew, on 10/10/2007, -0/+8because its also for your computer?
- dcmjzero, on 10/10/2007, -0/+7old technology. my gyration mouse has done this for years. http://www.gyration.com/en-US/ProductDetail.html?modelnum=GC1005M&accshow=3
- inactive, on 10/10/2007, -2/+9***** no it isnt
There have been plenty of air mice before the wii's creation - Urusai, on 10/10/2007, -0/+6How about Creative's drivers? ATI? Most printers? Why does every stupid peripheral think its the only piece of software I run?
- fkr3, on 10/10/2007, -0/+5You use all 12 buttons? Family tree must look a little funky.
- zolaar, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3Done over 60 years ago

Buried as pun-magnet - aarona, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3It's sad for me to see new things like this come about. I want them so bad, but every time I get a new mouse or keyboard, particularly a higher-end (expensive) one, I have this unfortunate tendency to spill beer on it, or drop it in such a way that it cracks neatly in half in the most important areas. Lost several nice keyboards that way. Lost even more nice mice, too. These days I just buy the cheapie MS or Logitech Optical Mice and MS Ergonomic keyboard. Anything else is a waste of cash, since they only last 5 or 6 months.
- Trel, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3Thank you. I was wondering if anyone else thought that this was the same old thing.
Plus the Gyration one is $60 if you don't need over 30ft range. - inactive, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3nothing better for a media center system than a gyration!
- KMye, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3Very cool, and important, that you can use it on your desk as well. I don't think the in-air functionality would fare well for photoediting because of lack-of-precision and likley fatigue. But if I can use it as a traditional mouse, and then flick some little hand gesture to add a new adjustment layer, and then go back, I'm sold.
- tehWyman, on 08/19/2009, -0/+3Neither could I.
- xnviews, on 10/10/2007, -3/+6Now if only their SetPoint drivers didn't suck SO MUCH ass. Unlike most users I use all of the functionality of SetPoint+Uberoptions and I have to say Logitech makes the biggest PIECE OF ***** DRIVERS and I hate them at least once a day. I've been desperately trying to find another company with the same features but better drivers and I can't. *SIGH* The closest is Kensington, but their high end mice are lacking in buttons (which I use extensively). I make use of every single of the 12 buttons my MX1000 and also use program specific customization for every program. Mice with 7,8,9 buttons just doesn't cut it for me. I've even tried exotic mice like the Fanatec Headshot.
- zdiggler, on 10/10/2007, -1/+3Logic tech needs to have better technical show offs and demos on their website. Their website is like reading a white paper about a product.
- thekronz, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2Man, mice an do anything now-a-days. They can wave, they can soar, etc.
- peter337, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2Looks useful for something like Joost.
- tehWyman, on 08/19/2009, -0/+2Ya, that looks GREAT for FPS's.
- Ignignokt01, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2I really, really, really don't think this thing is targeted towards gamers.
Sounds freaking great for a classroom though. My school uses something similar but not quite this technically advanced. - Flame500, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2This is nothing new gyration has had this for years
- brusty, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2I'm definitely getting one of these. After having a Wii and seeing how awesome the possibilities are of interacting with the computer in this fashion, I am very excited about this product.
Logitech makes some sweet ass gadgets. - defrex, on 10/10/2007, -1/+2That mouse looks cool, not that it's any use to me without Linux drivers...
- noisey, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1It might be good for flying in Battlefield.
- Urusai, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1You win the Irrelevant Reference of the Day award.
EDIT: Oh I see what you did thar. - Ignignokt01, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1better than a joystick?
you don't see Blackhawk pilots flying with a waggle-enabled controller - motheroats, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1picture PLEASE!!!
- KarthVader, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1Sexy.
- Toupee, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1I wish you could control the Wii cursor without pointing it at some IR light. This looks like Wii 2.0!
Wonder if they could do something about that with some badass software! - Toupee, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1Yeah, I work with a Russian woman who doesn't speak perfect English by any means, and when she told me there was a "mouse" flying around her house the other night... I didn't know what she was talking about.
Anyway, check this Youtube video of the mouse out. God, that's badass.
http://youtube.com/watch?v=c14oTqYGepM - TheHappyRobot, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1This reminds me of the manual controls of the Heart of Gold, where you have to keep your hands in exactly the right position or it all goes wrong.
Actually this is basically just a Wii control for the PC isn't it? - frickindeal, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1So how is this thing for everyday mousing? I have severe carpal tunnel that is really only bothered by mousing. I can type on a keyboard all day long, but for some things a mouse is really the only practical way. I've tried every ergonomic, vertical, left-handed, ambi, etc. mouse and none really helps, unless I dedicate my left hand (I'm right handed) to mousing, but now the left wrist is acting up. I even spent $130 on a Wacom tablet so that I could use the pen to mouse, but still get the CT pain.
If I could hang my arm at my side and still mouse effectively, it'd be worth the $150 not to have pain at the end of the day. - inactive, on 10/10/2007, -1/+1I just got mine today from Amazon & although I don't think ads belong on digg, I still dugg it because the mouse is so ***** sweet
- adrianmonk, on 10/10/2007, -0/+0I hear this thing is all the rage over in the Duchy of Grand Fenwick.
(They play a lot of video games over there when they're not busy invading other countries.) - inactive, on 10/10/2007, -1/+1I just got mine today from Amazon & although I don't think ads belong on digg, I still dugg it because the mouse is so ***** sweet. The scroll wheel still fascinates me...I'll shut up now.
- richardiscool, on 10/10/2007, -2/+2NOT EVERYTHNG IS ABOUT GAMES YOU *****.
- inactive, on 10/10/2007, -0/+0so it is not a mouse but a remote control now?
- solniek, on 10/10/2007, -1/+0great sigh!
- shinynew, on 10/10/2007, -2/+1I cant tell if your comment is sarcasm or not.
- IamZed, on 10/10/2007, -1/+0Pick up mouse, move cursor, put down mouse, type. Pick up mouse, move cursor, put down mouse, type. Pick up mouse, move cursor, put down mouse, type.
- xnviews, on 10/10/2007, -5/+3Why isn't there a bury as advertising? I bet Kevin never thought naive people would ever digg up shameless advertisements like this.
- fkr3, on 10/10/2007, -4/+2I do not understand why someone would spend $150 on a mouse for a computer game...
- osc1882, on 10/10/2007, -7/+2 """Like the controller on Nintendo's (NTDOY ) Wii game system, the MX Air stuffs a lot of advances into a little package. It has motion-sensing technology from Hillcrest Labs, including a gyroscope that senses the nose of the mouse angling up and down or side to side, and an accelerometer that tracks the device's movement in any direction as you point it at the screen. This mouse always knows which way is up, so you don't have to worry about holding it perfectly level. And an onboard processor is constantly crunching motion data so it can filter out things like a slight shaking of your hand."""
Nintendo is even changing the mouse world. Awesome. - Nobiting, on 10/10/2007, -13/+4AHH CREEPY BLACK GUY
