- MissContinental, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I found out about this a month or so ago, but didn't know where to buy one. I think this is unbelievable...i LOVE my SD/USB card. It was given to me as a gift and it's the best gift you can give someone who's always on-the-go. I digg it.
- sfbayrealtor, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Costco.com seems to have the best price and they're in stock (only $99 for 1gig). Heck, if a normal 1gig SD card is $90, it's totally worth the 10 extra bucks for the USB option.
Here's a pic of it in action - jgotangco, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0still neat though. I should get one of those soon.
- oldgeek, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0It is old but still cool. I'm getting one.My camera and video camera both use them and i can just plug it into my notebook and transfer the pics.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I have three of these already. No digg.
- matt0817, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0welcome to 6 months ago
- scbysnx, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I saw that in circuit city 2 weeks before christmas
- mousky, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0"welcome to 6 months ago"
Try 12 months ago. How can people digg this? - nrbelex, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Ohhhhh - llllld

- colinemckay, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Now if they could do this with compact flash as well...
- sfbayrealtor, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0URL: http://www.michaelkoenig.net/xSites/Agents/fremont-homes/Content/UploadedFiles/sdusbinlaptop.jpg
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0It's still cool, don't just say old and flame, actually look at it first :D
- FJR1300, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Dick DeBartolo praised this drive on an episode of Call for Help not too long ago. http://www.gizwizbiz.com/pages/316717/index.htm has his linkage to sandisk.
- Thezeppelin62, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0that is BA
- DewayneSmith, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I might buy one, they're awesome looking...
- charliepolk, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0@ bigredergrib
you can undigg dumbass.
- sir charles - j0keR, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Yes, old artice-- but cool hardware. Too bad I don't really need SD for anything... =/. My money's going toward another SATA HD.
- nneonneo, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0This just got on my RSS list, but it's a full day old...odd, RSS is a tad slow?
- Guspaz, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Seriously. When the credit-card sized flash drives were announced, my response was "so what?". SD cards with USB connectors (both on the end like this one, and in the middle like I've seen elsewhere) are WAY smaller and have been available for a while.
- battybattybatt, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0ooh "*****" dont sound like no chicken to me, !
- LordPablo, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0im digging it because its good.
but i saw these in my local photography stores catalogue about a month ago. - tmcleroy, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0This was on call for help a couple months ago
- NiLeS, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Wow. I was totally just thinking how SD has all of this wasted space. Take out a SD card. Right now - go. Look on the back. You should seea sort of rectangle. This is the only part needed by the card. You could cut off the rest, and it would still work. Ok, you wouldn't be able to eject it, but you could still read/write. Anywho, great idea to use all of that "wasted" space.
- intelsucks, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Where do I get one? NO COSTCO!
- battybattybatt, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1Hey malthiek
"definitely old, saw it months ago. but still cool and news for some."
This SHOULD be the motto of digg in general. - Madgoldfish, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0this is as old as they come, we have been selling them at cicuit city for a good six months.
- conspir8r, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0kool. gotta get one. i haven't seen these around yet.
- blackbelt88, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I have to digg just because of this: "I'm already on my 4th Treo650...don't ask"
- Mediaright, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Yeah. Dick D. showed this on Call For Help months ago. But it's still cool. Digg.
- sfbayrealtor, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Yeah, the story's old...that's 4 sure. But could never find one in a store (and I live in the bay area...you'd think we would have them oozing out our every orifice!) Now that I have one "in-hand", it makes all the difference in the world compared to all the vaporware out there (promised, but never delivered).
- mpegcom, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0looks cool also looks like it was done in MS Paint
- Dukester, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Wow, way to be way behind the power curve on the release of this hot news item. Like a couple of months!
- tamzarian, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0OOOOOHHH, I like the way that looks for some reason. Digged up for the design.

Help Me! http://www.waterbloggd.blogspot.com - Chicken, on 10/12/2007, -2/+1If its old, its still innovative. Besides, I haven't seen any articles like this on the front page. You guys are ignorant little *****.

Yeah, but how much did you pay for em - he, I go tme a personal ball washer, what did you get, an 256MB SD card for $150 !
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!
- L. Black - battybattybatt, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0Shiiiit, they got those in miniSD now, shiiiit.
- bigredergib, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0Yawn. Old.
What Digg is missing is an "Un-digg" feature. In the spirit of 'checks and balances' if enough unknowing people can digg a story enough to bring it to the front page others should be able to un-digg it to knock it off... - FaNtAsMa, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0"old.... seen that on Call for Help along time ago.."
I was just about to post the same thing. Reported. - atrain, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0Yup, this is pritty old... no digg...
Didn't know they were on sale yet, i need an sd card for my pda, and if it has usb, considering im on linux its way easier than syncing... - dimplemonkey, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0The article was dated Jan 5, 2005!

- gohoos, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0Cool, but the press release you linked to is over a year old. No digg.
