- flag564, on 10/12/2007, -1/+17Give us a call when they actually make a buyable product.
We've been hearing about these things for years, and they have yet to produce. - sockpuppets, on 10/12/2007, -0/+9It will look great in my flying car, too.

- ydt89, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2if you havn't noticed the orange words at the top of the page that say "recently popular". The only reason your seeing it is not because the number of diggs or the number of comments, its because of the number of diggs in a certain time period...
- dawgma, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2In other news: Time continues to move forward bringing future events even closer

How do you know that i dont know that the number of comments are part of the algorithm....
How do we even know there is algorithm... What if digg is entirly controlled by a mutant species of elephants!? Exactly... You dont know. - Aceanuu, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Very cool... of course, I don't see this being adopted in the next year, but it's definitely gonna be nice when it finally gets around to being more standard.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1just like the movie Red Planet, kinda scary how close we are getting
- snubber, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2Hey guess what that happens all the time and it hasn't been news for like, ever.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1screeen?
- pengas, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1wonderful concept - this technology will benefit us all one day.
when our cell phone integrates into a laptop, TV and music player.
combined with the advances in nano solar technology,
they will not require batteries either. - DelMonte, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1I think it should be obvious by now that Digg made some important changes to the promotion algorithm.
Just look at the front page since the last few days... Most stories have less than 500 diggs, and much more 50-100 diggs stories get on the front page.
And ydt89, how do you know that the number of comments are not part of the algorithm? - sint4x, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Still waiting for Transparent Displays!
- fatas, on 10/12/2007, -7/+2Wow made the front page with 0 comments. Edit now 1 comment, plus mine.
