- scoreboard27, on 02/16/2008, -1/+15122. Keeping a backup phone for when RIM rolls out a Blackberry "update".
- jonroth, on 02/16/2008, -0/+11I want one! Time to get some crack(berry)
- pmctosh, on 02/16/2008, -0/+10Maybe it's time for me to see what the whole crackberry thing is all about. A bigger screen would be a bonus either that or it's time for new glasses. Pretty extensive list.
- StevieJanowski, on 04/02/2009, -0/+8Where is the guy that had surgery on his fast thumbs to type faster? Other than that awesome list
- inactive, on 02/16/2008, -0/+6I think I am still in the stoneages! I dont have a Blackberry... although my husband does for work. I will pass this info to him!
- inactive, on 02/16/2008, -1/+7Excellent post. For me, too technical to use, so I wouldn't get one but if I was to ever purchase anything, this would be it.
- inactive, on 02/16/2008, -0/+5The problem with all of them is they are still bloody hard to find when you lose them. They need a warning alarm of them to make them easier to find.
- buzmcg, on 02/16/2008, -0/+5I want a phone that knows what I'm thinking.
- tringtring, on 02/16/2008, -0/+4"Turn Off Messages: You can choose to turn off messages by going through your security options and modifying your firewall settings." This alone can save folks tons of wasted minutes...
- StuBeck, on 02/16/2008, -0/+3Its easy to have 121 tips when half of them are the same thing. How many times do they need to talk about how to dry your phone or delete your messages?
- jphicks, on 02/16/2008, -1/+4For years it was mandatory for me to have one on my person at all times when I was corporate. And, my corporate experience damned near killed me. Truly, just reading that list of stuff made my anxiety level go through the roof. Very beneficial if you plan on continue using your CB but, I haven't had one since and don't plan on it ever again.
- osko2052, on 02/16/2008, -0/+3There is new software called Find My Berry. You send an email to your phone and it makes the BB flash and beep like crazy and you can put whatever message you want on it in case someone finds your lost BB.
- bluechips23, on 02/16/2008, -0/+2Besides Find My Berry, you can also use Blackberry Tracker (free) application. If you download that application and register on the website (both free), and assuming your BB has GPS, it automatically sends out current location of your blackberry in different intervals. You can see both the current locations and history of your locations where your BB has been, on a Google Map. In case you have a kid to track, or if you wanna just install it on your blackberry in case you might loose it, this is a perfect application.
- StanMort, on 02/16/2008, -0/+2Try one. It's not too technical. My father learned how to use mine in minutes and it's taken him over 5 years to learn Outlook Express.
- inactive, on 02/16/2008, -0/+1Drying your device in silica gel will get silica dust into the cracks and result in failure over time when the gel heats up and coagulates in the moving parts, such as under the keyboard.
- spider418, on 02/16/2008, -0/+1Four tips on how to dry the blackberry? I too set all my BrickBraker records in the bathroom, but what's with all the slippery fingers out there?
- sgtpppr, on 02/16/2008, -0/+1They have made just the phone for you! http://www.jitterbug.com/phonesOnetouch.aspx
- InfamousAtheist, on 02/16/2008, -1/+1This is a really great list. I'm pretty well-versed in BB ins and outs and still picked up a few tricks. Dugg.
- RonnyN, on 02/16/2008, -1/+1Get a wife.
