  • positron, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0i used to make these all the time in elementary school, though they were never this complex. they were usually just bits of paper witha car drawn on one side and a robot drawn on the other. i'd fold down the sides and fronts, sometimes with little "head" and "feet" tabs folded underneath. thanks for the nostalgia!

Personally I prefer building mechs instead. http://my.dreamwiz.com/papermech/mech/mech01.htm BTW, it's really fun if you scale up the printouts, you can end up with a 3 foot tall mech (hint: build it using card stock, I tried it using regular printer paper, and it wouldn't hold up it's own weight).

    There were more in the original collection though I think - I wonder if they're the same ones.
