- Lane5slacker, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5Exactly what I thought...
Though, for some unexplainable reason I read all of it. - LiquidPenguin, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4@scruffbot
No *****. What the hell is up with his navigation scheme? What happened to a basic "NEXT>>" instead of this crappy dropdown box that fricken resets itself on every new page.
I got fed up with navigating the damn pages and I had to quit reading this garbage when I encountered, "There is an additional internal 3½" bay positioned sideways just to the left of the 5¼" bays, and on the right side is the spot for the power supply, yes that's right it gets mounted in the front of the Duet." What the hell kind of description is that? Just shut up and show us the pictures.
And what's this OCIA seal of approval? How does one approve of a case that might require dremeling to exhaust the hot air?And 18" x 18" x 6"? That's fricken huge! Not even my amp in the home theater is that big. Let's talk when you have a sexy 1U or 2U case that's shorter than 17" on either side. - ElliotShoe, on 10/12/2007, -2/+5Why are case reviews showing up on the front page...?
- scruffbot, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2I don't understand why this guys lame excuse for a tech site/blog keeps getting on digg. There is nothing ground breaking about his reviews, in fact they are terrible.
wait, lets all click on his adsense links and get his account suspended, or make him a bunch of cash, i don't know. - cakefart, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2That has to be the lamest review I've seen in years.
No details, bad photographs, hideous navigation. And it's as close to being an HTPC as Dick Cheney is to being a marathon runner. - samdu, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Spam. The submitter's history shows that he only submits "stories" from this same lame site.
- svBlackManta, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I don't know, I think my NZXT Lexa case feels pretty solid. It is shiny but it isn't over the top like some other cases out there. I agree about the horrible PSUs though. I'm not sure what you expect from the innards of a computer case but the Lexa case offers more than enough room and flexibility for anything I want put in it. My only real problem with NZXT is the price of their cases.
- deadbaby, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1That glossy black finish is going to look absolutely terrible after a couple months of use. I bought an Antec case with a similar paint job and it shows every single scratch and ding. I'm also not found of 60m fans -- they generate too much noise.
- warnerrr, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2I have the NZXT Guardian case, I love that thing. NZXT is good people.
- DolphinGL, on 10/12/2007, -2/+3We used to sell the NZXT cases. They're very awful.
They use the same generic innards as the most bland, cheap, generic cases out there. Then they just moulde a low-quality but flashy front for it, and paint the outside (the side panels often don't fit properly anymore after painting). This ensures that all the people who like shiney things but don't look much into quality will buy it. Then, to add insult to injury, they put in the most horrible power supplies on the planet. It got to the point where I flat out told customers to buy a better power supply if they wanted that case because I got tired of the service issues.
NZXT = flimsy, cheap, basic, terribly designed cases trying way too hard to appeal to people who like their computer to look like a cheap plastic toy. Avoid at all costs. - TridenTBoy, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Piece of ***** compared to my Zalman TNN 300 case.
(***** sounds so much better than junk) - collinong, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1the only reason this case could be considered a HTPC case is because it can be laid down horizontally. however, it is 455mm wide = 17.9 inches, which is too wide to fit or match standard audio/video components or racks, which are about 17 inches wide. it is also 17.9 inches deep, which in my experience is too deep for most av racks.
- warped, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1Great, just what we need. Another HTPC case with 80mm fans. How can you even think about saying it's for HTPC without larger fans. Check out the Antec Fusion....
- Detritus, on 10/12/2007, -3/+3Eh... looks like a knock off on the Antec Lifestyle series. http://www.antec.com/us/pro_en_lifeStyle.html
I'll stick with my Overture. - bwilstyle, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0Tiger says "sports a modern, chic front panel". Haha, they said chic.
(I hate Tiger with a passion that cannot be contained in a mere day.)
Price is good but I still feel fine about the $200 I spent on my Wavemaster. - Xorsist, on 10/12/2007, -2/+1I'll stick with my Lian-Li PC-V1000.
- pyite, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0This thing is horrid, WTF
- tendonut, on 10/12/2007, -2/+1And I with my Antec P180
- EvilTesdall, on 10/12/2007, -5/+0lame!
