- satzio, on 10/11/2007, -0/+22When I invite my girlfriend over to my house, she'll ask me "Can I check my email?" and I'll say, sure, just turn on the - VROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM WAHwahwananaaaahhhummmmmmm...fssssssssssssssh.
- IceUck, on 10/11/2007, -1/+14Is it just me, or is this just an attempt to advertise something?
- piznut, on 10/11/2007, -3/+13Ugly and garish.
This is what happens when you give a stoned 14 year old access to CNC equipment. - ZenMasterJG, on 10/11/2007, -2/+8One question...
Why? - inactive, on 10/11/2007, -4/+8That is very nice, the blue LEDs are getting a bit tired though dont you think?
- vonskippy, on 10/11/2007, -1/+5Yawn.
- troye, on 10/11/2007, -2/+6is anyone thinking about a computer cluster when they saw that thing? after college, I am building a personal computer that will make 99.9999% of all people who see it die and then cum on the floor. I will be the only one immune to its effects. Just wait digg.
- xtraa, on 10/11/2007, -6/+9I just realized how much I love my mac mini.
- DJMajickman, on 10/11/2007, -0/+3yeah lets see I could fit 20-40 mac mini's in the amount of space that cube takes up and bought refurbished would probably cost less too
- reyalp, on 10/11/2007, -0/+2Not enough 5.25" drive bays.
Fail. - Beerduck, on 10/11/2007, -1/+3As such kinda ugly. But how about painting it into a Borg cube? That would be freaking awesome!
If anyone does it I'll buy it. - inactive, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1Well until they invent a color other than green, red and yellow I think ill stick with blue.
Would be nice to have purple, pink and such unfortunately odd colors aren't easy to make into LEDs and are normally done with more than one LED of the other colors.
Even white doesn't seem to be possible for leds, the only solution seems to be polarizing the lens or combining the other colors. Its one of the reasons LED house lighting is such a pain, since things like polarized lenses and such are required. - raid517, on 10/11/2007, -5/+6*****' noisy...
Won't do much for your 'carbon footprint' either with all those fans and power supplies running. Seems like the SUV of computer cases on that score. - seasick, on 10/11/2007, -1/+2Certainly looks like it to me.
- smartmlp, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1I read some where that its better to have an unequal amount of intake and exhaust fans.
- johnny23, on 10/11/2007, -2/+3Looks very cool. Thought, instead of going with 4 power supplies, the two in the middle could be removed, the motherboard trays moved closer together, then you would have room for 120mm exhaust fans.
It just seems a little out of place to have 6 massive i120mm intake fans and only 4 little 80mm exhaust fans....for all air cooling anyway. - quetivity, on 10/10/2007, -0/+0way too big, looks pretty ugly too
- MKcom, on 10/11/2007, -4/+4Wow, that case is pretty awesome. Well out of my league :)
- conchita123, on 10/11/2007, -0/+0dude, the reason it reminds you of the Lian Li Cube is because Lian Li copied the mountain mods cube!
- leoeris, on 10/11/2007, -0/+0It's just you. Everyone else knows its an attempt to advertise something.
- beaner2011, on 10/11/2007, -2/+2That's some serious nerd right there.
- tomkinsc, on 10/11/2007, -2/+1Reminds me of the Lian Li cube:
http://www.3dgameman.com/content/view/4708/48/ - agrabob, on 10/11/2007, -5/+3I bought a UFO back when they first came out. Unfortunatley, mine doesn't have the ability to mount a Thermochill rad or dual PSU's, but damn its a beautiful case and takes a lot of abuse.
- Fuujinryu, on 10/11/2007, -2/+0I own Mountain Mods' "vanilla" U2-UFO http://www.mountainmods.com/images/images_big/U2UFOS.jpg , and I couldn't be happier. This model does have three 120mm exhaust fans, and with Zalman silent fans, you wouldn't know that it's running seven total. There are, of course, two silent power supplies pushing all of the hardware inside. I use it to run eighteen hard drives as a local file server, and I can tell you, the only thing I'm disappointed with in it is that it's difficult to get it to hold even more hard drives. 5.25" bays are mostly useless for this system, so while some may feel that it doesn't have enough of them, I feel that it has far too many. I would have much rather had another two fan bays (instead of just one) on the right so I could add another six drives than a bunch of bays that won't get used for anything. As is, the eighteen drives it has does exactly what I want a computer of this kind to do: Serve media files to my other machines over the network immediately. No need to mount a spare drive, no need to find the DVD that has the show you want to watch, just browse, click, and go.
- codespinneker, on 10/11/2007, -2/+0Yah its nice but does it come with a Bioshock collectors addition? You know a nice blue and green finish?
- Arbus, on 10/11/2007, -3/+1I thought this was a mountain bike. I didn't read the description. I just saw the huge list of exciting words like "Mountain" and "Chassis." Just thought I'd let everyone know.
- utp216, on 10/11/2007, -6/+4What is the point of this case? Just build it to say that they can? Seems like a waste of $$ IMO.
- despot666, on 10/11/2007, -5/+2This case looks sweet! I wish I had the money to afford one.
- Binarydemon, on 10/11/2007, -6/+3I personally think it would be more impressive to fit two powersupplies and support for two motherboards within a normal size case, not some huge cube.
- backburn, on 10/11/2007, -9/+5This case is freaking awesome, we have a bunch of build photos with the duality at: http://www.teamnexgen.org/gallery/showgallery.php/cat/512
-Backburn, Team NexGen - Exterm, on 10/11/2007, -8/+2I love MM cases, I am currently using a Twice Seven and couldn't ask for more, thanks Ben.
