That is a $560+ motherboard guys.. - hustl3, on 11/26/2007, -2/+51I don't need watercooling for porn.
- inactive, on 11/26/2007, -0/+37You obviously aren't pushing the highest resolutions possible.
- chewtoy, on 11/26/2007, -3/+36They should call it The Waterboard.
- inactive, on 11/26/2007, -0/+26I spent big money on a swiftech watercooling kit about a year ago. At the time it was worth it with pentium 4's and pentium D. But now with the core2duo , and quadcore procs, its almost not worth the extra gain vs air cooling. So much in fact that im better off selling the watercooling kit and just useing a really good heatsink and get some money back.
- bergur1, on 11/26/2007, -2/+20good luck hauling that pee puddle around
- jgtg32a, on 11/26/2007, -0/+13You need a new video card
- teqonix, on 11/26/2007, -0/+12Wait, what's wrong with heatpipes?
- MonsterChaOS, on 11/26/2007, -3/+14Build a PC in a fish tank full of mineral oil and it will be cool too... and a hell of a lot cheaper
- graemee, on 11/26/2007, -2/+11YOU HAZ LIFEJACKET?
- MarkOfTheDead, on 11/26/2007, -0/+9Could you imagine that thing springing a leak? That would be torture.
- schnikies79, on 11/26/2007, -0/+8Sure it is when I can buy a air-cooled motherboard for sub $100.
- Frezzle, on 11/26/2007, -0/+6Asus has had there Maximus Formula and Blitz Formula mobos out for awhile now and only $200 and $300(still a bit high though).
- tempusrob, on 11/26/2007, -1/+7Considering how long people have been using water cooling in their computers, I'm pretty sure leakage is a solved problem.
- devo6273, on 11/26/2007, -0/+4Haven't you heard of the new waterboarding technique for mothercooling? Some women will go to great lengths to be rid of hot flashes...
/bad joke - winmywii, on 11/26/2007, -0/+4Do `I only see two SATA ports?
- ruley, on 11/26/2007, -1/+5for overclockers, this could be a godsend. the cost of buying all those heatsinks would be over 150 bucks, and with that flawless design you would save tons of space.
edit. saw the price, this is useless other than for people who need space and overclock. - zachshmack, on 11/26/2007, -1/+4Do I have dyslexia if I glanced at the headline and thought this was about Waterboarding?
- skjold, on 11/26/2007, -0/+3You mean I can buy it? FOR MONEY?!
- echolalia, on 11/26/2007, -1/+4That's a concern? When a squirrel invades your house, topples your tower, slides your case open and nibbles on copper until your cooling pipes pee everywhere, let me know. Otherwise they've been doing this for a long time and leakage shouldn't be a concern unless cute little animals are involved.
- breakaway, on 11/27/2007, -0/+2This is ***** stupid. Kinda like the Killer Nic.
No fans? Whoopty *****. Heatpipes accomplish the same thing. But now you can have the pleasure of paying $400 extra for 'WATER COOLING OMG LOL WUT' - Tenoq, on 11/27/2007, -0/+2They suck for overclockers.
- Frezzle, on 11/26/2007, -0/+1Thermalright Ultra-120 Extreme http://www.heatsinkfactory.com/thermalright-ultra- ...
- fixedcoma, on 11/27/2007, -0/+1corrosion and leakage is the only problem! I'd hate to see my house go up in flames cause my computer sprung a leak and sparked a fire
- lemel, on 11/26/2007, -5/+6At last!
- mountaincable, on 11/27/2007, -0/+1We need to stop encouraging stupidity
- gregdbowen, on 11/26/2007, -1/+2Ha!
I have had a few motherboard combos that were torture. - zachshmack, on 11/26/2007, -0/+1Damn, yet still expensive
- Nevarius, on 11/27/2007, -0/+1Does it include cooling for the processor, or just the chipsets are liquid cooled? Read through the article and seen no mention of it. If it did i could see dishing out that kind of money for it.
- SupaSolly, on 11/27/2007, -0/+1To bad it is a MSI motherboard might last a couple months before you need to RMA.
- cyberwarriorx, on 11/27/2007, -0/+1Or has components or accesories that are DOA, or has horrible drivers. Yeah, I'm a disgruntled MSI product owner. I'll also never buy from them again.
- jamend, on 11/26/2007, -0/+1The purple things above them are 4 flat-mounted SATA ports.
- MonsterChaOS, on 11/27/2007, -0/+1Actually, you can fit it all into a 5 gallon hexagon walmart (cheap) tank that seals up...
- coalfield, on 11/29/2007, -0/+0Or £260 ish....
- Urusai, on 11/26/2007, -1/+1Hell yeah it has. I recently did some gas pipe runs. We used a thousand bucks worth of copper. Damn.
- Lane, on 11/26/2007, -1/+1They should call it H2mObo
- brdhse1, on 11/27/2007, -0/+0I CAN HAS CHEEZBURGER?!
- romantic101, on 12/23/2008, -0/+0Wow this is cool... Maybe someday will be oil cooling motherboard

http://1000-cash-loan-payday-check.blogspot.com/ - SupaSolly, on 11/27/2007, -0/+0Nice work but those still have heat pipes & fins which is what this board does not need.
- warp25, on 11/26/2007, -2/+1I'm waiting for the liquid nitrogen cooled version
- isunktheship, on 11/26/2007, -2/+1Wow this is old...

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N8 ... - Lane, on 11/26/2007, -2/+1This is like a dream come true *tears* wait how much is it? Nooo! (more tears)
- isunktheship, on 11/26/2007, -2/+1That's what you get for not going to war!
- shiftless, on 11/26/2007, -2/+1I have to agree with watercooling to be very cool, but it can be a pain in the butt. I'm selling a bunch of my old parts on ebay if anyone is interested. http://search.ebay.com/_W0QQsassZshiftlessxxl
- dsmx, on 11/26/2007, -6/+5Considering in the last year the price of copper has doubled it's not too bad.
- BobMysterioso, on 11/26/2007, -4/+3Seriously though, when porn and other video gets to 1080p limits all the time, processors will have to be a lot faster than today. The drivers are too immature at this point to reliably produce a x264 1080p image without a ton of processing power. I can do 720p on a pretty powerful AMD 4200+ but 1080p brings it to its knees.
- GJempire11, on 11/27/2007, -1/+0Or do you?
- Lane, on 11/26/2007, -2/+1Mineral oil can not be cooled as efficiently. Fans would be required to dispirited the heat properly. If you really look into it mineral oil simply has a higher density as compared to the air which normally fills your case so your not gaining that performance benefit as quickly unless your cycling the mineral oil through a radiator just like water cooling.
- isunktheship, on 11/26/2007, -3/+0Yeah and oil changing it, that's ***** gross. Watercooling ftw, you can cool everything, even PSU's...
- inactive, on 11/26/2007, -6/+3What if it leaks? That's probably the only concern i see about it.
