- Sazime, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I used to build cables like this. Glad to see people are still at it! My first was a parrallel, 9 pin null and 25 pin null modem cable. 50 feet long and all the pairs of cable were braided together. I was a bored and lonely high school geek indeed.
- TheNik, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Yeah, because everyone null modem.
- riot, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0patent the idea ... damn creative commons licence ... :)

- Goose241, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I wish someone would manufacture these. I would buy a couple of them for work. But I am way to lazy to make them.
- jmccorm, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Come on! You could have thrown in FireWire!
- knrj, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Can i buy one???? PLEASE?
- friegh, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I was thinking just duct tape em all together....
- AndrewTechie, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Cool...but it was already in make magazine
- rifter, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Yes, the first issue of Make Magazine did have a 5 in 1 network cable. I remember flipping through it while I was at B & N.
- Logik, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0wasn't this in Make Magazine in the first issue? I thought it was... i don't have mine readily available but it looks very much the same.
- zahngol, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I love the idea, but would you really call this a 5 in 1 cable?
