- cawfee, on 07/15/2009, -2/+19Soon to be seen in adolescent bedrooms everywhere, paid for by mom and dad so Counter Strike can finally run at 160 FPS while listening to 50 Cent in the background.
- OrangeTide, on 07/15/2009, -3/+14when can we stop running 32-bit OSes?
- jrapp, on 07/15/2009, -0/+10Probably when people stop thinking that Windows XP is the be all and end all of PC operating systems.
- albel65, on 07/15/2009, -0/+8i...5?
Is this supposed to be Intel's mid-range CPU line? - estacado, on 07/15/2009, -1/+8Wow! This guy is a master troll. Respekt.
- miitch, on 07/15/2009, -0/+7Core i5 Ftw, core i7 for rich people
- Engival, on 07/15/2009, -0/+6This is just getting stupid.
- Spire3660, on 07/15/2009, -0/+3Article earlier today said that these boards will most likely NOT ship with SATA 6g, as Marvell cant get them to work properly.
- HelplessSEAL, on 07/15/2009, -0/+3I'm just pissed that sony can't get off their fat asses and get me a 64 bit vista driver for my NEW handycam...It's ridiculous how out of touch some electronic companies are with the rest of the computing world
- inactive, on 07/15/2009, -0/+3Indeed, i7 is nice.
- superterrorizer, on 07/15/2009, -2/+5Found an article that explains the Rebranding a bit better if anyone's curious.

- ducttape36, on 07/15/2009, -1/+3id say when manufactors offer real support for 64-bit drivers. even windows xp has a 64-bit version.
- Myztry, on 07/15/2009, -1/+3I'm a fan of Gigabyte and always buy their full ATX boards at the upper end of their consumer range. One thing to note is that while backplane connectivity is good (if you're a loyal Pastafarian), front access proves problematic.
Quite often USB devices won't work reliably via the front ports. This is contributed to by the case leads no doubt but I don't buy the cheapest of cases either. I've given up on microphone inputs and use USB webcams for microphone input instead.
Sound just never switches to front ports like in theory it should under AC97/Azure? (or whatever psuedo standards exists ATM). And it always seems hit and miss whether the microphone input is boosted or not.
And frankly I don't like looking at the back of an ATX form factor PC because it's scary... - Tenoq, on 07/16/2009, -0/+2Most of them have, surely? Even my obscure audio card I've been bitching about since Vista's release finally has not only a Vista driver, but a 64-bit Vista driver (that works in Win7 too).
Start asking for 64-bit compatibility before you buy, and it might actually happen. - Egotrippin, on 07/15/2009, -3/+5Wow. You shouldn't say anything if you don't know what your about.
- RSterkenburg, on 07/20/2009, -0/+1I just use the Windows 7 Sound panel to change my default output from Speakers to Headphones. It's the only way to get the sound changed, but it does work so it isn't too much of a pain.
- Photar, on 07/15/2009, -5/+5I like the part with the Motherboard
- 64705, on 07/15/2009, -3/+1hi5 everybody! Whoo.
- 64705, on 07/15/2009, -5/+1I heart Counter-Strike (not source).
- nenadsuperzmaj, on 07/15/2009, -8/+1I've been using Asus' P5K motherboard for about year and a half now. This might be the heir to the throne that is my home computer... (Being a bit of a pompous git this morning and bloody enjoying it :p )
