The most powerful laser is at the LLE (Laser Lab for Energetics) at the University of Rochester, NY. It too is part of the NIF and puts out 2-3 PetaWatts.

While I'm not a massive fan of Pink Floyd myself, saying a song is crap because it takes too long to start it the stupiest thing I've heard this week. I take it you've also never listened to the wonder that is Tool, purely because there songs generally last around the 7 minute mark? Do you skip all songs on CDs you own that are longer than 3:30?
And I'm not even commenting on how crap Green Day have actually gone in recent years. I suppose you're also one of the people that thinks "American Idiot" was their debut album?
