- wiirdo, on 01/07/2008, -10/+345I'd be afraid to watch pr0n. I might fall inside her vagina.
- loveforkarma, on 01/07/2008, -18/+229How could we tell if it was REALLY that big. The Chinese man could just be really little.
- homesickalien, on 01/07/2008, -19/+134Yes, but will it blend?
- anTii, on 01/07/2008, -88/+185Ron Paul
- MacEnvy, on 01/07/2008, -5/+97Just wait until holographic porn hits the market. Then you could fall through her vagina.
- 000dom000, on 01/07/2008, -1/+9150% less power consumption! woo go panasonic. Whats that? a big tv? whatever
- oxilite, on 01/07/2008, -0/+84Just look at the thing! Its big enough to fit a WHOLE ELEPHANT on it!
- Lane, on 01/07/2008, -8/+90And coming soon the worlds biggest burnt in image!
- bigteebo, on 01/07/2008, -0/+57I want this so I can teleconference with the world leaders to give into my demands. This screen was made for that.
- cbreaker, on 01/07/2008, -3/+57On that TV, the Wii would look like an Atari 2600 with blocky graphics and crude animations. 480P just wouldn't cut it on a display that large.
- FredFredrickson, on 01/07/2008, -1/+52No more HD... now we're at BHD (beyond HD). And tomorrow Sony is releasing a PS4 with built-in Beyond Blue-Ray disc player, so go out and buy all your favorite movies all over again (again)!
- xero7, on 01/07/2008, -9/+57Wii time!
- krnldmp, on 01/07/2008, -0/+45Unfortunately 50% less still yields a power consumption figure too embarrassingly high to publish.
- Markie1006, on 01/07/2008, -3/+44Who?
- 000dom000, on 01/07/2008, -0/+38i believe contrast is miles better with plasma
- bossm4n, on 01/07/2008, -2/+39Since when is Gizmodo considered blogspam? You work for Engadget or C|Net?
- KidOsiris, on 01/07/2008, -0/+36..."and when you press this button the inter-dimensional portal opens up"
- Vector713, on 01/07/2008, -1/+37Yes, but the blender large enough won't be announced until CES 2009 :(
- shinythingy, on 01/07/2008, -0/+351080p projector under a grand? Link?
- NeoCortex, on 01/07/2008, -0/+34I would so hook up my old NES system on that. With pixels the size of milk crates, I could play from across the street.
- nollek, on 01/07/2008, -3/+36chinese
- chesscat, on 01/07/2008, -4/+36Watch out for those Peter North cumshots.
- sst4ab, on 01/07/2008, -0/+32I, for one, dont want to smell a pornstar's vagina.
- martinherrera, on 01/07/2008, -10/+40Introducing the 'Jesus TV'
- rif42, on 01/07/2008, -3/+32Chinese man? Panasonic is a Japanese company, the company president is called Toshihiro Sakamoto. Now try again, which nationality do you think he is?
- Kallius, on 01/07/2008, -0/+27If you can afford to buy one, you can afford to have your house built around it.
- absurdmusician, on 01/07/2008, -0/+24Anyone remember Fahrenheit 451? The wall sized TVs?
No?
Books? - PinkFloydFan, on 01/07/2008, -2/+25Dugg for showing boobs.
http://gizmodo.com/photogallery/pana150live/100043 ... - scottnash, on 01/07/2008, -0/+20Afraid?
- Zezza, on 01/07/2008, -0/+18Dugg up for the stupidity of it
- logicalnoise, on 01/07/2008, -0/+18every screen tech has a downside. Projectors need low light to get the best picture and bulbs still cost an arm and a leg. Plasmas have a shorter life span and can suffer from burn-in. It all depends on your needs.
- homesickalien, on 01/07/2008, -0/+18Well, people still blend that crap.
- therodge, on 01/07/2008, -1/+18Sheesh, enough already. I'm starting to hate Ron Paul like I hate the Verizon Wireless guy.
- bigtizzle, on 01/07/2008, -2/+19Cool elephant.
- Daggity, on 01/07/2008, -9/+24Dennis Kucinich.
- romistrub, on 01/07/2008, -0/+13They would probably have the money to hire a helicopter-crain to bring it in through their huge balcony.
- lnxfi, on 01/07/2008, -4/+17If you live in an apartment, you can't afford it.
- 93TILL503, on 01/07/2008, -1/+14I should have started saving 2 years ago.
- romistrub, on 01/07/2008, -0/+12How can you understate a binary situation?
- veloscaper, on 01/07/2008, -0/+12blend crap?
2 girls, 1 blender. - flexprimo, on 01/07/2008, -1/+12I'd be a little worried about tossing the Wii-mote through that one. A $1000 TV is one thing, but this is a whole different league.
- Pobotrol, on 01/07/2008, -0/+11150 inches and nothing on.
- kreneskyp, on 01/07/2008, -3/+14He's just some annoying person not a ron paul supporter. "ron paul" has just been added to the list of things people post in a sad attempt at being funny. other such comments include "first post!!", "in soviet russia..", "i welcome my new overlords", etc etc.
Don't fall for the cheap anti-rp spammers trying to make ron paul look bad. - cr3ative, on 01/07/2008, -0/+11... to pay off this goddamned screen!
- cbreaker, on 01/07/2008, -0/+10Yea, a projector makes perfect sense for EVERY application! Just put the projector out on the street if you need the display to be in a window. Or hang it from the side of a building.. or build a big glass box in front of it so people don't stand in the beam.. No problem!
- LnghrnEngineer, on 01/07/2008, -3/+13Ron Paul
- joegibes, on 01/07/2008, -0/+10I wanna see an Atari 2600 on that TV.
- EtherGnat, on 01/08/2008, -0/+10Remember to spay or neuter your politicians.
- givemereplay, on 01/08/2008, -2/+12Now you're thinking with portals.
- hasahugedig, on 01/07/2008, -3/+132k x 4k resolution...so does that means that elephant and whatever else on that screen should actually look better than what I am seeing, because I'm limited to a 1280x960 resolution?
