"why didnt I think of that and do it?"
why? because you can!

DUG! - antiwmac, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0nice!!
- persecuted, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Beautiful, not because it looks like a masterpiece but because it works.
- SinNombre, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Yeah... pretty neat and sort of a nice hack, but not entirely attractive or practical...
- Tankdog, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0wow... digg
- madhatter349, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0id definetly buy that
- abbtech, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Ya that binary clock at ThinkGeek is cool! Wish I had one :)
- Swift2, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Great hack, but did you hear that puppy? I would have to figure out a way to make it quiet.
- FoosYou, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0There is no "why".... that just rocks! Dugg!
- headzoo, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Yeah, making it quiet needs to be their next objective.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Man, I didn't see the L in clock and thought this was a porn article.
- ,,|,_, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0every time I glance at this headline something subconscious says "what is pr0n doing on digg" but then I read it more closely and it makes sense.
- -=Ross=-, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I'd buy one. :D
- abbtech, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0- Practical? Definitely not.
- Loud? Oh yea, it is an old hard drive with the front removed.
- Impresses any computer “geek? You bet.
- Why? Something that hasn’t been done before and has a big cool factor in my books :) - 8ight, on 10/12/2007, -2/+2okay okay... i hate to be the negative one, moreso with the first comment, but...
why? - oldgeek, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0A clear cover whould help some of the noise. A window in the cover like yoshi did one tmie may work.
- coachace, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Dang! And I thought my dead drive looked good at the bottom of the trash can!
- CompIsMyRx, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I still think the binary clock from ThinkGeek.com is more impressive, but this is pretty nice.
- hdherndon, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Wow... If you spend a second and realize how it works, it's really spiffy! It's like some gimmicky thing they would sell at the sharper image, except it's cool because it's homebuilt :P
- Tricky, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Damn!
- clemonator, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I keep have to telling myself that Digg is not a site I visit for Breaking News but is a fascinating adventure in 'social linking' (or whatever) and is all about what people 'digg'. I myself did this in the 80s and found it old then.

What is Digg?
