Yes, apparently this anti-trust lawsuit was all about increasing competition on the desktop. Microsoft is the center of the desktop business hub, and so it's my impression that the idea behind the settlement was that the software needs a place to live, i.e., the desktop, and so one way to diversify the desktop is to give consumers a choice in desktop hardware. - thenativeraver, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1A software company gets a lawsuit and schools get hardware?
