Ethernet Cable Tester

fraw.org.uk — Similar to another story I saw on digg, but this one uses dip switches to let you check crossover cables as well as finding crossed wires.

  • PacoBell, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Yech, those DIP switches look incredibly hard to work with by hand. I'll stick with something a little more manageable. Otherwise, neat project.

    They used to have a kit with just the Crimper and Tester for $7
    Now you have to purchase it with 1000' of CATV and RJ45 connectors
