- sbcea, on 11/01/2009, -0/+23I agree with the article that planing a product release tens years out is unrealistic due to the overall pace and unpredictability of tech in general.
- alienufo, on 11/01/2009, -1/+18how much you wanna bet the first thing someone does with it is project porn onto a wall in a starbucks?
- jerryjamesstone, on 11/01/2009, -2/+15How festive!
- MrBenC, on 11/01/2009, -3/+14Attention: S'il vous plaît ne pas insérer dans tout orifice.
警告:以下のすべての開口部に挿入しないでください。 - inactive, on 11/01/2009, -3/+14Warning: Please do not insert in any orifice.
Advertencia: Por favor no inserte en cualquier orificio. - BurntToShreds, on 11/01/2009, -0/+9I wouldn't buy it even if I could possibly afford it whenever it comes out. I like my keyboards to be real and interchangable. can you imagine how hard it would be to play TF2 with that thing?
- piieerrrree, on 11/01/2009, -0/+5Avertissement: Ne pas insérer dans vos orifices.
- inactive, on 11/01/2009, -0/+5Tech has been very predictable fr the past 20 years. The singularity nutcases have it all mapped out.6

- darkane, on 11/01/2009, -0/+3That's just plain stupid. Way to over think it, Ericsson.
- spriggig, on 11/01/2009, -0/+2The stand-alone laser keyboard for PDA's didn't exactly take off. I don't see how attaching a projector for the monitor makes the idea any better.
- BananaGrabber, on 11/02/2009, -0/+2WALKING EYE
- disappointed, on 11/02/2009, -0/+2I know what you mean. You mean "Big" with Tom Hanks. That was a good film.
- Cerin, on 11/01/2009, -0/+2And the fact that both projection keyboards and screens currently exist, and will never replace traditional keyboards and screens for the reasons mentioned in the article.
- bono4u, on 11/01/2009, -0/+2If i remember correctly a similar device was shown by siemens engineer in 2002.
It produced a keyboard on the table and could recognize the finger movements.
The siemens engineer said they weren't quite sure what kind of display they finally want to use. Options were a beamer or flexible lcd. - anonymous10, on 11/01/2009, -3/+4I imagine typing with that is about as intuitive as playing the piano with your feet like you're in an 80s family movie, if you know what I mean.
- sckoralesky, on 11/19/2009, -0/+1I like the mechanical feedback of a button. It makes me happy.
- ahtu, on 11/02/2009, -0/+1Don't we already have mini projectors and this laser/IR keyboard thing?
I'm sure someone could build that in a few days right now. Just throw in some high-end mobile phone innards or something. - Davinator, on 11/01/2009, -1/+2http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nkE7tkVoaiQ
- kgerm, on 11/02/2009, -0/+1looks cool, but lack of a tactical feel would drive me crazy
- BrokenCircle, on 11/02/2009, -0/+1Oh look another tech concept.
- Idiggapony, on 11/02/2009, -0/+1So how does the keyboard know when you're pressing a key?

- fritzmusic, on 11/01/2009, -2/+1Aside from color, that thing looks like the killer butt-carrots from Lexx series. I'd link a reference but can't find a good pic.
- rushnerd, on 11/02/2009, -2/+1Unforeseen Consequences ?
- earther, on 11/01/2009, -5/+4if i'm still having to use a keyboard to interface in 2020, i'm going to be pissed the ***** off!
- Techrocket9, on 11/01/2009, -4/+1I thought of this a while ago. Do I get a share of the profits?
- NoUltimatum, on 11/01/2009, -4/+1ZOMG dugg for 2012 reference!!!!!!!!!
