Boating electronics: First splitter for AIS transponder
atlantic-source.com — So far, an AIS transponder needed to have it's own VHF antenna to operate. Not any more, with this new splitter, the AIS transponder can share an existing antenna, e.g. the antenna you are already using for your radio communications. AIS (Automatic Identification System) is an international standard that allows ships to communicate position data.
