- senfo, on 10/12/2007, -2/+8Wow! That's amazing work. Very fine attention to detail.
- pondster, on 10/12/2007, -4/+9Very cool, only one comment - Optimus prime was not white - There was a white truck with the same layout of prime but he wasnt called O.P.
Stille very cool - brenthals, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5Actually, Optimus Prime became white near the end of the original series' life when, after he returned from the dead and was under some type of mind control, was exposed to some type of "infection" that made his outer hull invulnerable. That series of episodes (there were a few, maybe even several) led to the new "Golden Age of Cybertron."
Man, I miss being a kid. - Bokista, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5I'm still a fan of this old break dancing video: http://youtube.com/watch?v=Go4iK1BbrCI

http://forums.cgsociety.org/showthread.php?t=336742 - DisembarkedOne, on 10/12/2007, -2/+6that ILM movie was a fake btw
- usergentoo, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4remember the vw transformer?
this guy shows you how he made it
http://home.comcast.net/~msmith1015/VWVideo.htm - DisembarkedOne, on 10/12/2007, -3/+7yeh that will definetly kill his server now...
- b04155, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3the blue and white paint job is just so he's really, really in disguise
- sporktek, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3That is amazing. I am currently downloading the video, but I'm just totally blown away by the stills on that page. Exceptional detail, right down to the lettering on the cab and the tread on the tires. Dirty up the textures a bit more and that model could coexist with humans in a live-action movie without much, if any, Roger Rabbit effect.
- trogdoor, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3At first I thought you were talking about the Citroen commercial ( I know it's not a VW ). That I would like to the making of but both are awesome videos and a nice tutorial too here is a link if you don't know what I am talking about:

1-Lego
2-MacGyver
3-transformers! - diecastbeatdown, on 10/12/2007, -1/+4looks very similar to that industrial light and magic leaked video. amazing stuff.. i actually like this one better, the background and camera motion was perfect. must have taken a very long time to put this all together.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3You rock. Thanks!
- Kazrog, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3At first I was thinking CGI as in Perl script - like ASCII art animation. That would be teh kewlest.
Seriously though, this is amazing work. Digg!! - Flinty, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3http://homepages.nildram.co.uk/~flinty/OPTIMUS_HIGH.zip.torrent
Tracker: http://www.tglounge.net/small/announce.php - Flinty, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Torrent Mirror:
If you have already downloaded the high quality version of the video, please download the torrent and seed.
Thank you! - w00gy, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3I like everything except the hands. They just sorta appear out of nowhere.
- camtech, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3It helps to link to a site that people are actually permitted to download from.
- affanjam, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2youtubes down :(
- EBFoxbat, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3I'd be glad to seed.... where's the torrent?
- Zippo, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Amazing stuff. The only thing I would have changed would be making him red... and using the original TF sound effect.
If the movies doesn't use the sound effect, I'll be disappointed. - cleverboy, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Gotta digg the scintilatting details in the hi-res movie version (dirt kicking off and the regaining balance). Hopefully ILM has got it tied down tight like we like it. :o)
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Wow, a new one! I was half expecting to see that white VW New Beetle one again.
- modian, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2flinty: are you gonna continue seeding this or did you give up?
- trogdoor, on 10/12/2007, -4/+5"You have reached YouTube, the premier digital video repository on the Internet. We are currently rolling out new changes to the site.

Youtube... Down... ?!? - kryptogrowl, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1single greatest thing i've seen on digg in long while.
- antdude, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2Thank you Abe!
- everfalling, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1whoa. cool stuff. very life like. i only had a few problems with it though. one: the hands magically come out where the front headlights are. he should try doing something where maybe the fold inward? two: as he's standing up, he doesn't put out his leg for balance or anything, he stands streight up using his feet to get his kneeds and body up. considering how short the length of the feet are, you'de think the weight of the body would tip him forward. i'm just nit picking i know. it's still an awsome piece.
- kickarse, on 10/12/2007, -5/+6That's cool
- cleverboy, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1@tylerdurden0: "Now let's see Soundwave!!"
This movie will either have to be seriously retro, or Soundwave's gotta get a brand-new bag. I mean, as cool as his Boombox-self was, those transforming cassete tapes (bad ass as they maybe, Ravage, Rumble, Laserbeak...), don't quite "fly" in a world where even CD players are becoming less relevant. "Eject!, Eject, Eeeeeejeeeect!" Who knows, Sony's still hopeful. Maybe Soundwave can be a PSP and shoot UMDs or MiniDiscs. lol. - TylerDurden0, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Gawwwd dayum! If the full movie is half as sweet as that clip, I will be one happy Transformers fan. Now let's see SoundWave!!
- mrjoelkamp, on 10/12/2007, -2/+2thanks 90kb/s
- Legion303, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0That is the single most awesome thing ever.
- Faasnat, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1Heh, I would like to see Megatron transform from the handgun to the large sized robot in this format. Or Soundwave for that matter.
- nirmaldotca, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1looks cool and all but the only thing is when he stands up he is doing this really gay thing with his left (right from your point of view) leg.
- Meshyf, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1Ok now lets get these guys working on a really good Transformers game for xbox 360!
- Knivez, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Impressive, like the amateurish/shacky camera effect. makes it appear much more real.
- Lacero, on 10/12/2007, -3/+2Nice portfolio piece. I wonder if he's shooting to get hired by Bay and Co.
- DisembarkedOne, on 10/12/2007, -2/+1yeh thats freakin weird if you ask me.

- rmany2k, on 10/12/2007, -4/+2If the movie looks as good as that...I'll have to see it.
