Truly disheartening. We the People keep speaking to our elected officials, but are told time and time again that we are not worthy of listening to. I really respected President Obama at first and have been pleased with some of the things he has done, such as repealing Don't Ask Don't Tell, and making progress on the gay marriage issue. However thanks to the NDAA 2012, ACTA, CISPA, Enemy Expatriation Act, and handling of the Drug War and Privacy Rights, I am no longer a fan. :( Hoping he will come to his senses sometime, but not holding my breath at all.

A mentally ill but perfectly healthy appearing person encountered the police. There is video of him being beaten by the police and screaming that he can't breathe and begging for help. They continue to beat him anyways. By the end of the video there must be at least 6-12 cops surrounding him. Now that man is dead. If those officers are not behind bars while awaiting their murder trials, then the system really is broken.
