- Smokeydabear, on 10/22/2009, -1/+29I don't care how long it is, you're always going to have to wait for some ***** who's walking the course.
- maffiou, on 10/22/2009, -0/+21I was hoping it would be a par 71000 type of golf course, but no, you just have to driver 50 miles between each hole... The holes themselves being like the ones on a regular golf course... Disapointing.
- tim507, on 10/22/2009, -0/+11Good thing they don't charge by the hour...
- skipvt, on 10/22/2009, -0/+9Not the place to go if you want to play a quick nine.
- PeanutCheeseBar, on 10/22/2009, -0/+6Could have sworn this was from The Onion.
- tim507, on 10/22/2009, -0/+5...or by the mile for that matter...
- UhNathUhMuh, on 10/22/2009, -0/+4As much as I enjoy golf... I can't help but think of George Carlin...
- jebaird, on 10/22/2009, -0/+4Great shot Bob! Now you're only 2 miles from the pin!
- specialknfnd, on 10/22/2009, -0/+4oh ok, cool. so you can generalize people, but i can't. i got it now. sorry about that, it won't happen again.
- Elset, on 10/22/2009, -0/+3I was expecting the tee boxes to be high up on cliffs so you can drive 1000 yards. But no. The actual thing is kinda lame if you ask me.
- Xiolent, on 10/22/2009, -0/+3Must be a bitch to staff. I don't see any reasonable way for them to prevent people from playing for free.
- ugacrew, on 10/22/2009, -0/+2Now another good reason to justify going on walkabout.
- lurrch1, on 10/22/2009, -1/+3Can you say publicity stunt? It's not the same course if you have to drive 50 miles between holes in some cases.
- footodors, on 10/22/2009, -0/+2those crazy australians!
- goobly, on 10/22/2009, -0/+2...also minus the trail
- lex0429, on 10/22/2009, -0/+2Imagine you get a Japanese foursome in front of you there, could take a month.
- askantik, on 10/22/2009, -0/+1Well if it's 850 miles long, there has to be something to follow, right (aka, a trail/path)?
- rambomcfly, on 10/22/2009, -0/+1How close do holes have to be to each other to be considered the same course?
- FLCProductions, on 10/22/2009, -1/+2Trying to think of golf puns......
- PowderedToasty, on 10/22/2009, -0/+1a short walk.
- bossm4n, on 10/22/2009, -0/+1How much are twilight fees?
- Xiolent, on 10/22/2009, -0/+1"The par-71 course will take three or four days to complete with each player awarded a certificate at the end. "
- Jsmuli2, on 10/22/2009, -0/+1awesome, wasting your life on a golf course needs to be more interesting!
- camaroz06, on 10/22/2009, -0/+1Pretty cool way to see parts of Australia. Wonder if there is a ranger or starter to check you at each hole.
- SooperSonic, on 10/22/2009, -0/+1"Dreamed up 'over a couple of beers'..."
Fosters: Australian For Golf Course Designing. - DaneGleesac, on 10/22/2009, -0/+1"Congradulations, you just completed 18 holes of sand traps and gravel pits and it only took you 4 days and 2 full tanks of gas."
- inactive, on 10/22/2009, -1/+2Not exactly sure how you got "miles" from "times" but ok, that works...
- lurrch1, on 10/22/2009, -0/+1Within the same town at least.
- Eupatorus, on 10/22/2009, -0/+1"Hey... Hey don't you walk away from me! You don't know who you're dealing with! Don't ever tell me what I can't do, ever! This is destiny, this is destiny... This is my destiny! I'm supposed to do this, dammit! Don't tell me what I can't do! Don't tell me what I can't do! "

- OMGscience, on 10/22/2009, -0/+1I miss that man. 8(
- jahru77, on 10/22/2009, -0/+1Dreamed up "over a couple of beers" should of had a few more, blacked out and not remember this silly idea.
- askantik, on 10/22/2009, -1/+1So this is like a mini-Appalachian Trail (minus the Appalachians, of course) where you bring golf clubs??
- goobly, on 10/22/2009, -2/+2Almost 3 miles longer than your state? That's almost 5 miles longer than your state!
- specialknfnd, on 10/22/2009, -3/+3as someone who walks courses and is usually always waiting on some fat, drunk idiot to shank the ball, get back in his cart and drive the 20 feet to his ball and shank it again, i resent that. when I have used a cart, I've never had to wait on a walker, as they're usually alone and they're often not bad players.
maybe that's just my area though. - inactive, on 10/22/2009, -1/+1Thats ok, I understand. Being a smart ass is usually a time constrained business, gotta be quick lol.
- ShingoEX, on 10/22/2009, -1/+1WOOHOO...more wasted land!
- inactive, on 10/22/2009, -3/+2Thats almost 3 times longer than my state.
***** Australians... - Pinkertinkle, on 10/22/2009, -2/+1This is why Australians are the worst polluters per capita in the world.
- goobly, on 10/22/2009, -2/+1Yeah I'm not sure either.
- Smokeydabear, on 10/22/2009, -3/+1Dude, clean the sand from your vagina, it was just a joke. Christ, I mean just because someone uses a cart doesn't mean they're some fat bastard who's drunk on the course. And use of a cart doesn't have anything to do with skill level.
- BigBambino, on 10/22/2009, -3/+1c'mon son.... get that ***** outta here.
- sizzzzlerz, on 10/22/2009, -4/+0You think its boring listening to some hacker recounting his play on a par 5 hole. Imagine when he starts to tell you about each stroke on a par 150!
