The worse was an announcer last night doing a tease for a sports wrap up show saying ""And Tiger makes his move at the Masters!"
He shot PAR! He finished farther away from the lead than he was going in. there is no way to look at it that he made his move! Oh wait...he was tied for 20th after the first round, and now is tied for 19th. I guess that is his move. (though there are the same number of people with his score or better since it was an 8 way tie at 20th and now it is a 9 way tie for 19th.
Meanwhile, the man that may finish this weekend at #1 shot 3 under par in the last 6 holes to go from the cut line to end up in hte same spot that Tiger is. Composition is a thing of the past I guess. Capturing the moment is one thing; capturing it along with context is another ball game.

I love Tiger, I really do, but I love all the golfers, As a fan, you don't really root for or against anybody, you want everyone to have a good round. But I also can't stand the attention tiger is getting, yes it would be a hell of a Cinderella Story to comeback on Sunday, but there's a better story brewing in the last group.
Kenny Perry has been the one to watch since day one. He is arguably in the best position to win the masters and is currently the winningest player in the last year. Yes Tiger is great, but he is not going to win. Why not shift the attention the folks people are really interested in. If you want to talk Cinderella Story, how about Kenny Perry in a position to win winning his first major at age 48 (which, if he wins would mean he's the oldest player to do so), or Cabrera the co-leader making a remarkable comeback on Saturday (and could become the first South America to win) - anaclagon, on 04/11/2009, -1/+2This is really gay.
