He's pushing what, 31? I'm willing to bet that he will surpass everything Nicholas has ever done (that isn't dependent upon age) by the time he hits 40. - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -1/+11Go Tiger!
For you youngens... you are watching history in the making... they'll make a movie about this in 15 years, like the same movies we now see about how basketball changed when black Americans were introduced into the game.
Tiger is making history folks... - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -1/+8Although I will fight for your right to say whatever you want, I will also let you know that you are an *****...

- glacius99, on 10/12/2007, -1/+5Truly one of the greatest athletes of all-time..
Kudos Eldrick!
*goes back to playing TW PGA Tour 07* - DaceDiath, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4'Son of a black man and a Thai woman, not even German geneticists could have thought that one up. Black athletic ability, budists concentration!'
Robin Williams - MingdaMirthless, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4Kramer? Is that you?
- MaddDog, on 10/12/2007, -1/+4For your info, Tiger Woods is not a "black" American but multiracial.
He is one quarter Chinese, one quarter Thai, one quarter African, one eighth Native American, and one eighth Dutch.
Source:wikipedia - jerseywhat, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2he is the *****, i agree
- ZenMojo, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3"For your info, Tiger Woods is not a "black" American but multiracial."
Over 90% of "black Americans" are multiracial.
90% of white ancestry, 90% of Native-American ancestry. Assuming that there are blacks who are not Native-American, you get a higher than 90% multiracial makeup. So he's still black from a social recognition standpoint, he's just personally multiracial.
(One needs to understand that race has a social and personal component to it, of course.) - 8177, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3He's an everyday Heinz 57.
- jestoner, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1What?
- usherzx, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1@ Maddog
regardless of whether he is black or not - Tiger is still a minority in golf. Golf was a white-only sport for hundreds of years. There were no african, chinese, thai, native americans, or dutch - playing golf with those white men back in the day.
Tiger truly is doing some amazing things with that golf ball that no one before him has EVER come close to doing.
I've been following his game since he entered the PGA and have read numerous articles about his style. It is amazing that there are players on the PGA Tour that spend their entire lives perfecting their golf shots and ball/spin control... and here is a young teenage Tiger Woods with so much spin on his golf ball he is asking people for help on how he can put LESS spin on the ball - true story. - buckynekkid, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2This is incredible. I guess the annonymity of the internet really does bring out the worst in people. It seems almost impossible for anything featuring Black people prominently to make it to ANY front page and have comments that aren't racially loaded. Some positive African rappers were featured on Youtube recently I felt like maybe times haven't changed as much as people think, when I read the comments. If a headline about a Black scientist said, "Cure for Cancer Discovered", I wouldn't be suprised to find a "...but does he have a jump shot", comment. It amazes me how insecure some people are.
- DaceDiath, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2'He is one quarter Chinese, one quarter Thai, one quarter African, one eighth Native American, and one eighth Dutch.'
He is part Dutch? Im so proud of my nation right now - jestoner, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2Actually, they already made a movie about Tiger. It was basically about his childhood and how he made it big though and not his career.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2Tiger winning Golfer of the year is like the sun rising from the east. Not really front page material.
- avolant, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1i would like to say, for the record, that basketball, football, etc etc... all games. and in exactly the same way that golf is. boxing and hunting are sports... less so with american style boxing, more so in the blood sports, shoot fighting, etc. gladiator fights are sport.
tossing, kicking, throwing or chipping a ball around on a field for whatever duration of time (with no chance or intention of killing something) is always just a game.
thank you for your time. - yoble, on 10/11/2007, -0/+0Thanx a lot for the info. I've never thought it is for real.
- jtbauki, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0"He is one quarter Chinese, one quarter Thai, one quarter African, one eighth Native American, and one eighth Dutch. "
So if anything, he's representing Asians the most!
*stirring up controversy* - supervapio, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Sounds interesting... What an epatage!
- Equistatic, on 10/12/2007, -6/+3In other news, the Sun rose today.

- slickrick2k1, on 10/12/2007, -3/+0hahaha but does he have a jump shot...comedy
Seriously though there will have to be a black scientist first. - Cory70, on 10/12/2007, -4/+1Agreed its golf ......WHO CARES?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?
- 8177, on 10/12/2007, -10/+2Still cant play basketball, eh.
- scabbers, on 10/12/2007, -15/+4The only time I want to see a Tiger Woods story on the front page is when he murders k-fed with a 9 iron.
- Cory70, on 10/12/2007, -13/+1ROFL....good point
