He obviously dedicates alot of his time to this site, and only about a quarter of his submissions have made popular anyways. Yea it can be frustrating that he makes it to the front page alot, but that's because he is so damn persistent in getting stories submitted. Though I think his absence would be filled by the rest of the community, the site is for fun. So have fun and stop being dicks.

- robopuppy, on 05/15/2008, -0/+4I used to play the two courses there constantly. It is by far the best mini-golf I've played. One of the best parts about the courses is the general ghetto crappiness of the holes. You'd be thinking you're about to get a hole in one or something, but then the ball disappears underneath a tear on the carpet, or maybe it gets stuck in some tube that's filled with leaves and trash, or maybe you'll get lucky and end up shooting your ball into a broken tube that leads to the fenced off parking lot next door. After all was said and done, you could try to play some video games in the game room and hope they didn't eat your quarters. On the ones that worked, you'd have to be a very good player to beat the computer; not because the AI was set for super hard, but because your character was constantly walking to the right and the high punch and high kick buttons don't work.

Not nearly as sweet as this one though.Oh well, I'd just be getting some "ghetto mini" in before this gets torn down.

They had a big going away party to raise money to take all the sculptures away. It'll be weird driving down speedway and not seeing that bull with its giant balls standing out front.

The place was so cheap though that they couldn't even afford marquee letters. Every time I remember looking at the sign like half the letters would be substituted for something else.
