- artyraptor, on 10/12/2007, -0/+32Uh... it might be heaviest ankylosaur ever found, but it's sure not the heaviest dinosaur. 10,000 pounds is only five tons. The biggest sauropods weighed upwards of 80-100 tons. Inaccurate headline.
- OnymousHero, on 10/12/2007, -0/+14Geez, even your dinosaurs are overweight
;-) - sajohnson, on 10/12/2007, -1/+15The term you're looking for is "big boned" ;-)
- PabloIV, on 10/12/2007, -2/+15Dude, Techknowpagan
If you were being sarcastic you're hillarious. Those dinosaur conspiracy nuts are really funny. - soogy, on 10/12/2007, -1/+11Actually, the largest sauropods were even bigger than that. The Bruhathkayosaurus weighed up to 200 tons, or 182 tonnes! That's considerably larger than a blue whale, weighing in at up to 150 tons.
- rodrigo74, on 10/12/2007, -2/+11Reported as innacurate..it's only the heaviest ARMORED dino ever found.
- umrgregg, on 10/12/2007, -0/+8Yeah this needs to be resubmitted with the word 'armored' in there.
- icexe, on 10/12/2007, -4/+12i bet pat robertson could bench press that sucker..
- YourTechSupport, on 10/12/2007, -0/+7The key word missing is 'armored'.
Let's see how it fairs against the insurgent's vehicle of choice, an explosive-laden BMW! - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -31/+37No they are not, this whole "dinosaur" conspiracy is just a bunch of liberal lies aimed at denying the word of the holy bible.
- sosuke, on 10/12/2007, -1/+7off topic: does anyone else think that local6.com is one of the worst designed sites ever? with sections named "on the side ..." and "at the bottom ..."
- antoniojvr, on 10/12/2007, -5/+10He's not heavy, he's my brother.
- robotsongs, on 10/12/2007, -5/+9for those about to digg down techknowpagan's comment, please *read the username*. Aloud!
@TKP. nice one! - Tyrel, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4For some reason I was excited by the fact that the headling said the article had video. After I went to the article and was about to watch the video, I thought, "What a sec... a video of a dinosaur?"
Also, as others have noted, the headline of this and the article it links to are significantly innacurate. Marked as such. - twinklyJesus, on 10/12/2007, -1/+5I liked the other headlines at the bottom:

This is a TV news site or The Inquirer? - deweyhewson, on 10/12/2007, -2/+5Orrin Hatch doesn't weigh that much, does he?!?
- lbeaty1981, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3Damn, I was gonna make a Rosie O'Donnel joke, but Orrin Hatch works too. :)
- lennon2600, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1if the heaviest dinosaurs were eating greens, shouldn't we Americans be thin and luscious because of our insatiable desire for beef? What's up with that?
- jaredvolkl, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1"If the discovery is confirmed to be a new species, it should have the words tank, monster or mountain in its name, according to the report." That was the best part.
- quicksilver, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I thought it was the Volvo, of course it didnt really blow up did it?
- Silverjam, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1Duh! Didn't know that they had hi-tech then, or perhaps digg.com has changed into a archeological site.
Nice link btw, but not tech-related..... - artyraptor, on 10/12/2007, -0/+01. It's paleontology, not archaeology.
2. Digg has a SCIENCE category for a reason. It's right there next to the technology category, which people seem to think is the only category on the site. - fifthturtle48, on 10/12/2007, -4/+4tongue firmly placed in cheek
- twistx, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Title of that article and now this one is WRONG.
What they found is the worlds most heavily armored dinosaur, not the heaviest in weight. - actionprofiles, on 06/19/2009, -0/+0A Utah Video Production company like LENZ-works, http://lenzworks.com needs to film something like this.
- Rojo, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0FatAlbertsaurus
- deweyhewson, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1dig down...digg really needs to fix it's automatic page load on a login.
- geuisteses, on 10/12/2007, -6/+5We should equip the U.S. army w/ giant armored dinosaurs!
- raid517, on 10/12/2007, -5/+4No, but I bet your Moma does! :)
- crc515, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0I thought Gastonia was a country....
- toppgun, on 10/12/2007, -2/+0is it as badly designed as fox gaming?
- infra172, on 10/12/2007, -4/+1They're called birds.
- heinousjay, on 10/12/2007, -7/+4Nothing feels quite like taking the cheap way out and picking on people, right?
That demonstrates a maturity that can only be found amongst wonderfully self-satisfied geeks with inferiority complexes. Congratulations on being the bottom of the barrel! - JMartin13, on 10/12/2007, -10/+7Chuck Norris could bench press two; one with each arm
- TyRaNNOus, on 10/12/2007, -10/+5I wonder if it was a polygamist :p only kidding of course, bring on the burying!

- JMartin13, on 10/12/2007, -8/+3Shhh, he might hear you.
- soogy, on 10/12/2007, -11/+5Everybody's a comedian now. Those Chuck Norris jokes are old, overused and just plain not funny anymore.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -11/+5chuck norris is pond scum
- stoops, on 10/12/2007, -21/+10Ohh man, this is gonna be on the front page for sure!
