- twrife, on 10/13/2007, -4/+198I would go up to a woman and ask her that but I think that violates the court order.
- tunapez, on 10/13/2007, -15/+170If you want to get laid, find a woman using the testosterone patch treatment or naturally occurring high levels of testosterone. Nevermind the 5 o'clock shadow, you can't have everything.
- inactive, on 10/13/2007, -8/+129Firstly, there's no stigma about men having sex with strangers. A woman who did that would be considered a slut, but there's no similar societal consequences for a man. Secondly, sex is potentially a much more risky business for a woman. The risk of an unwanted pregnancy means that you would expect that even if women wanted sex just as much as men, they would probably be pickier and exercise more discretion over it. Just my $.02
- scooterbaga, on 10/10/2007, -4/+101dugg for the use of "snoo snoo"
- sotopheavy, on 10/10/2007, -10/+78All this shows is that men like sex with strangers more than women do. The equivalent of a strange guy walking up to a girl and asking for sex, for a guy might be: a girl propositioning you that you know had unprotected sex with a stranger just a few minutes ago. My personal reaction would be the same as the girls in this study... Get away from me.
- midbc, on 10/10/2007, -2/+55women like sex with money more than men do
- HonestAbe, on 10/10/2007, -1/+54The study was done with *attractive* men.
- BigManOnCampus, on 10/10/2007, -5/+56At the risk of having my libido/sexual-preference questioned, I tend to agree... snoo snoo with a total stranger it not what I'm looking for at all. While I wouldn't tell a girl who asked me that to "get lost" or anything, I'm not going to just jump into bed with her. I'd probably try to steer "have sex with me" into a date.
- inactive, on 10/10/2007, -0/+47If an attractive woman walked up to you on the streets and said, "I've been eying you from across the way, and I've got to have you! Will you sleep with me tonight?"...what would you say?
I'd make sure I still had my wallet. - heartcoldfusion, on 10/10/2007, -1/+33Um, actually it does.
See, I love pizza. A lot. If someone offered me a pizza that was cold, I would eat it. If someone offered me a pizza with toppings I didn't like, I would take them off, then eat it. If someone offered me a pizza that looked like it used cheap ingredients, I would eat it.
If you enjoy sex as much as men, you'll definitely lower your standards to 'bed' (there's bed used as a verb again) a man offering you sex. Men do it all the time. It doesn't mean you have the lofty notion of high standards, it means you don't like sex as much as someone who will do that. - evi1, on 10/10/2007, -1/+32Wait wait, we now have to go back to 1978 to get articles for digg?
- mos6507, on 10/10/2007, -0/+31Don't 'date' her. Just do her.
- bonerjams2k3, on 10/10/2007, -1/+27"it's written in the male DNA to tackle drunk bitches"
- tunapez, on 10/10/2007, -3/+29Read up on hormones soto, it's well known testosterone drives the libido. As women age, they produce less oestrogen, thus becoming more afflicted by the urges men live with everyday. Sooooo, if she's got unusually high levels of testosterone au natural or from therapeutic means, she is more likely to jump your bones. Once you know the facts, it makes perfect sense.

As for the beard reference, I'm gonna let you figure that one out yourself. - Otto, on 10/10/2007, -1/+26"What are you, gay?" - Zapp Brannigan
- JonnyTrombone, on 10/10/2007, -2/+26This doesn't really tell us anything about whether or not men 'like sex' more than women- and because of poor methodology, it doesn't even tell us very much about social stigmas about men vs. women when it comes to having random sex with strangers.
That this is pretty much ***** should come as good news to (almost) every man on Earth. - flygirl62, on 10/10/2007, -0/+23Also, don't forget that it's much more likely for women, if the situation went bad, to be overpowered by the other person, than for men.
In other words, I think it's more important to women than to men to have some sense that "this person isn't crazy or going to try to force me to do something I don't want to do" because she *usually* has less physical strength than he does. The reverse is seldom true.
So, that's another aspect of the "it's riskier for women" idea. - melsharples, on 10/10/2007, -0/+22In retrospect, they probably weren't wearing a santa outfit in August either. Live and learn I guess.
- lharrod, on 10/10/2007, -1/+21It's easy to say that, just sitting here, typing on a computer. But what if a really hot girl, friendly, charming, convincing, were to approach you privately and sincerely? It's not as easy of a decision as you'd think.
- JohnFive, on 10/10/2007, -3/+23Exactly, so I see no basis for the claim "Women Like Sex Just as Much as Men do...yeah right!"
- troberts, on 10/10/2007, -0/+19ya, if you had a chocolate dick that ejaculates money....
- HanSolo69, on 10/10/2007, -4/+22Let's clear this up a bit. Women like sex just as much as men, just not with you.
- tmalloy, on 10/10/2007, -1/+19already down but google caught it: http://72.14.253.104/search?hs=sUq&hl=en&lr=&c2coff=1&q=cache%3Ahttp%3A%2F%2Fwww.museumofhoaxes.com%2Fhoax%2FTop%2Fecomments%2F4754%2F&btnG=Search
- Darc, on 10/10/2007, -5/+23You guys are crazy for digging this dude down. This was funny stuff. ^5 man.
- inactive, on 10/10/2007, -1/+18That's just not the way women work. They like to chase guys that disqualify them. If you're cocky, funny, and disinterested, they'll want you. Men are more simple creatures when it comes to desire.
- masterdbugger, on 10/10/2007, -0/+16who said anything about dating?
- CrimsonBlur, on 10/10/2007, -2/+18While it might be true that men have a stronger sex drive than women (I have not found that in my experience), this study does not even show that. The study is totally useless. The methodology is broken from the very beginning. All this study shows is that women are more hesitant to have sex with a stranger than men are. There could be a million reasons for this, but the two most obvious are: social norms punish women for having sex with strangers, labeling them as sluts or whores, there is no real equivalent for men. Women also have to worry about getting pregnant by a strange man, and it's obviously much easier for a man to walk away from that situation than it is for the woman.
If women have such a subdued sex drive compared to men, why was Sex and the City so popular and heralded by women as an honest representation of single women in their prime? Sure, not all women would agree with that, but not all men are sex obsessed either. The entire subject is just silly. Men want to have sex, women want to have sex, the sexes behave differently. What a mystery! - catalysis, on 10/10/2007, -1/+16Actually you raise a good point. To a woman, a man who looks like he has average or below average income is like a fat girl to a guy. Of course, you are less likely to have random sex with a fat girl just like a woman is less likely to have random sex with a man appearing to have low income.
Men seek attraction, women seek security. - TheCosmicFool, on 10/10/2007, -3/+18The 9 months of hell are nothing compared to the lifelong commitment or regret that comes with the package
- norman619, on 10/10/2007, -1/+16It has been my experience that women crave sex just as much as men. All my ex girlfriends, including my current wife, were insatiable. I feel the perception of women not wanting sex as much as men has more to do with our social rules than reality. Remember a man with many sexual partners is viewed as a stud while a woman with many sexual partners is viewed as a slut.
- evil-doer, on 10/10/2007, -0/+14you forgot to also tell him to learn how to reply properly..
- Yurhiness, on 10/10/2007, -0/+14dugg for "no interest in worshipping a dead Jew"
- SimianSamurai, on 10/10/2007, -0/+13Evolution dictates that we will have the urge to want to do the hot ones.
- Plinkotic, on 10/10/2007, -0/+12Actually it's far easier if she's a knockout. Sleep with knockout? Yes. Not too much of a decision to make.
- subliminalurge, on 10/26/2007, -4/+16So she just had unprotected sex? Big deal. Most people have at some point.
Just throw on a condom and jump her. - melsharples, on 10/10/2007, -6/+18I can verify this. I walked up to dozens of women, told them I was watching them and HAD to bed them. No takers.
- bonerjams2k3, on 10/10/2007, -1/+13slooooooow down. who the ***** said anything about dating?
- jasoninoakland, on 10/10/2007, -6/+18This just tells me that women are more threatened (usually because they're the victims of rape and violent crime by men, not the perpetrators) by the prospect of sex with a perfect stranger. This proves nothing about actual sexual desire and enjoyment.
- asskicker32, on 10/10/2007, -1/+13Id say, "What are you doing right now? Lets *****!" but then again, Im more of a renaissance man.
- rayraym0fucka, on 10/10/2007, -0/+11Mine does
- chaos7, on 10/10/2007, -4/+15title is misleading. women may LIKE it as much as men, but they are more selective about WHO they do it with.
- somespecial, on 10/10/2007, -2/+12Maybe because it's the first time a guy was asked that by a stranger. Most likely a woman had been asked that before, and the first couples times, maybe she said yes.
- Plinkotic, on 10/10/2007, -1/+11Yeah, unless the guy's a complete scumball he's not off the hook.
We do have paternal instincts. I'd kill anything that threatened my young.
Biology is nice sometimes :D - 4degrees, on 10/10/2007, -2/+11that would explain the discriminant ways of a college slut.
(/sarcasm) - chrazyc, on 10/10/2007, -2/+11Exactly, thanks for some common sense. Men don't have to worry about 9 months of hell compared to women.
- masterdbugger, on 10/10/2007, -0/+9your alias is in all probability inaccurate, judging by your comment.
- Punisher2K, on 10/10/2007, -3/+11Only if she is 9
- ploop, on 10/10/2007, -1/+9Not only do you not understand a simple reference to the human endocrine system, you can't seem to figure out how to reply to a comment. And we were supposed to value your opnion... why?
- inactive, on 10/10/2007, -4/+12Not true! I have had sex with lots of women I didn't really know and I appreciate and respect each one of them. Nothing wrong with a women who likes to have sex, nothing at all.
The only one it matters to is the other chicks who are doing the same things. - kodomosuki, on 10/10/2007, -2/+9Falcon... PUNCH!
