- inactive, on 06/03/2008, -0/+6It pisses me off. There are times where i visualize the word i want to say in my mind. I can see the letters even and then when i go to say it...i've got nothing.
- nexus37, on 06/03/2008, -1/+5I guess he licked that topic. (Thank you. I'll be here all week.)

- o0joshua0o, on 06/03/2008, -0/+4I used to meditate very frequently. After some time, I noticed that I began remembering events from my childhood I had completely forgotten about. I eventually came to the conclusion that your brain doesn't really "forget" (i.e. delete) any memories. Instead, I think all the memories from your entire life experience reside somewhere in your brain. The only question is how easily you can access them. Very old memories with no practical use are "archived" by the brain, and can therefore be extremely difficult to access, but I'm convinced it's still possible to remember them.
Of course, this is all my personal hypothesis, and I have no real data to back it up. - inactive, on 06/03/2008, -1/+4A few years ago, after some oral surgery, I bit my tongue very hard.
I am glad it healed so I can read this article today and not get all depressed. - Myonosken, on 06/03/2008, -2/+5That was pretty...err...bollocks I forget.
- pyro789x, on 06/03/2008, -0/+3I believe that was an article on digg, I read it as well. I can't remember the name of the article though, for some reason.... I know I know it...
- thcobbs, on 06/03/2008, -1/+3Yeah, I just lapped it up!
- inactive, on 06/03/2008, -0/+2I read somewhere that when you have a word on the tip of your tongue, unless you re-memorize the word, the next time you want to recall the word, your brain is trained to give you the tip of the tongue again.
- inactive, on 06/03/2008, -0/+2you need to stop using mobile phones and eat more omega 3 and electrolytes.
- plnegative1, on 06/03/2008, -0/+1I don't ever feel like there is a word on the "tip of my tongue", I use that as an expression to say I just cannot currently access the information stored in my brain... try again later.
- jessehadden, on 06/03/2008, -0/+1Very interesting... it seems that the old view of the mind, as storing information in a logical hierarchical format, is giving way to a more "Google-brain" view.

- theoperand, on 06/05/2008, -0/+0I enjoyed this article a lot. Almost makes me want to give up my current track and study the brain. Thanks for the post!
- Pinkertinkle, on 06/03/2008, -2/+1The first thing that came to my mind when I read tip of the tongue was oral sex.
- Taktic, on 06/03/2008, -5/+0Again, confusing a very simple concept with some kind of outlandish afflliction.
It is called being 'dim'. Al Gore says it's good for the environment.
