- Hetman, on 11/06/2009, -1/+19You know they always talk about how they put flouride in our water to calm us down. I think the government is doing it wrong. Put THC in the water that will solve all problems.
- NeddieSeagoon, on 11/07/2009, -5/+21Dihydrogen monoxide
- carbbomb, on 11/06/2009, -1/+13Except heart attacks
- abdullahishtiaq, on 11/06/2009, -2/+10availabilty of drinking water which we call 'potable' is a global problem
- rgemmell, on 11/07/2009, -2/+9I don't care if the government is putting sunshine and unicorn piss in the water, I don't want them ***** with our water supply
Why do you need fluoride in the water so ***** badly? - pizzaface200, on 11/07/2009, -1/+7yeah, I hear that ***** is dangerous when you breath it you can die.
- fasda, on 11/07/2009, -0/+6and depending on your locality about 6ppm NaF and about 10-15 ppm NaCl is added
- tgc1, on 11/07/2009, -1/+7Did you hear about the petition to ban that?
- partrow, on 11/07/2009, -1/+7The emotionally impaired read this crap and buy "empty" H2O in little bottles.
I have fine, tasty tap water, and I will continue to enjoy it at approximately one-ten thousandth of the cost of bottled water. - shitton, on 11/07/2009, -1/+7We have to protect the "precious bodily essence" ... !
- tomcat4u, on 11/06/2009, -3/+8POISON
- Slackdragon, on 11/07/2009, -0/+5POT-able water.
I'll take potent potables for $10. - chthonical, on 11/07/2009, -0/+4Mandrake, have you ever seen a Commie drink a glass of water?
- GuitarHeroDenn, on 11/07/2009, -0/+4http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HV9gRFv5Kgc
- reddikilowatt, on 11/07/2009, -1/+5Years ago a coworker and I got into a big argument over fluoride in in the water. His argument was that the water company was ignoring all the "evidence" that fluoride was causing impotence and the cause of increased levels of estrogen in men. I asked him to produce real evidence (blogs and chain emails don't count) of any scientific study of this effect, and I would bring in my counter-argument the next day (Friday).
On Monday I asked him what he thought of Dr. Strangelove. Total silence. - RockeN5, on 11/07/2009, -0/+4I live in Tennessee and when I use the tap water I frequently find a cloud of white in the water. It's quite scary and I won't use it to cook or drink unless I run it through filters.
- tgc1, on 11/07/2009, -1/+5Because... the teeth...

I have no idea, but there are plenty of theories abounding. None of which i'll speak of to keep from being labeled a "***** conspiracy nutcase." BTW did you get your flu shot yet?
/s/s - kinerry, on 11/07/2009, -0/+3If you are killing yourself, it's kind of a loophole
- kelpdip, on 11/07/2009, -0/+3There is nothing wrong with my bodily fluids.
- coraleaterlinda, on 11/07/2009, -0/+3I've seen my local water turn orange, yellow, and white on different occasions. I've turned on the water fountain and the water that came out was very white. I don't drink the city water anymore.
- iBleeedOrange, on 11/07/2009, -0/+2Just a bit if knowledge I want to pass on. Your water is filtered by giant Brita filters. Imagine those little carbon filters except 20ft by 20ft and there are multiple ones. With of course some other stuff happening to it. Also, the stuff that is taken out of the water, is horrible its disgusting and is the worst thing I've smelt by far. The stuff is taken out and the water goes back to the lake.
- jbmcb, on 11/07/2009, -1/+3My sister-in-law never had any cavities until she switched to drinking bottled water. Fluoridated water works pretty well.
- stanleyford, on 11/07/2009, -0/+2This is just a theory but what if magic unicorns pee in the drinking water and that's what makes it safe to drink.
- arethuza, on 11/07/2009, -0/+2The water supply in Britain is pretty variable. I grew up in north of Scotland and the water supply came from the river Spey - I didn't realise how good it tasted until I moved to Edinburgh. Now if I go to London I can't believe how bad the water tastes compared to Edinburgh! My wife still gets a bit freaked when we visit places in the Highlands where the water is peat coloured.
- justbrilliant, on 11/07/2009, -1/+3I moved to south texas from Canada. The water tastes horrible. I do not even want to know what causes the taste so unfortunately i am stuck with bottled water.
- borez, on 11/07/2009, -0/+2What are you on about, she's not squinting at all.
Ahhh... I see what you did there, you did one of those racist puns. - fasda, on 11/07/2009, -0/+2nah that's Uranium oxide totally different
- TheSkunkMonkey, on 11/07/2009, -0/+2While I am quite sure that part of it is calcium, I have no way of being sure it's only calcium.
I've lived in many places and I've never had municipal water that left so much residue. That was the point I was trying to make. - zantos420, on 11/07/2009, -0/+2your idea of good water involves unicorn piss?
- stonebear, on 11/07/2009, -0/+2They only drink vodka; it's one of the perks.
- mrgreenjeans, on 11/07/2009, -0/+2Get a filter for your tap. It's a lot cheaper.
- daEvan, on 11/07/2009, -0/+2LSD
- Corr0sive, on 11/07/2009, -1/+3The bottles of water i buy are Crimson and say H2 OU on them.
Uranium? - partrow, on 11/07/2009, -0/+1Sodium hypochlorite? Bleach?
Do they treat water in Britain with that?
Are you sure they don't use a calcium salt instead? - chopyaedoff, on 11/07/2009, -1/+2I do not know why but water in California has a white film on it... Quite disturbing really, and plus it tastes sweet. Water in Florida, however, tastes milky.
Compare this to Britain where our water is pretty much clean but does occasionally have a slight smell of Sodium Hypochloriate. - DiggieDarko, on 11/06/2009, -5/+6What doesn't kill me makes me stronger.
- ArvinJA, on 11/07/2009, -0/+1I was looking for this, thanks! Dugg!
- stonebear, on 11/07/2009, -0/+1Absolutely correct; Somalia is the model we should be shooting for, not God damned Norway.
- TheSkunkMonkey, on 11/07/2009, -1/+2When I boil the tap water in my black Teflon lined pot, it leaves a white powdery substance. Even boiling the smallest amount leaves a film of this crap. It's really disgusting and makes me not want to consume the stuff.
No, it's not cocaine! - LegendX, on 11/07/2009, -0/+1This is just a theory but what if the government is encouraging bottled water to hide the fact they don't want to spent millions upon millions doing a nation wide sewage and water supply fix.
- tgc1, on 11/07/2009, -1/+2I love how much faith people put in these systems. You ever see your water come out orange tinged, black, yellow, or any other colors? When it does, you let me know if you're ready to take a nice tall glass of it and wash it down with your cool-aid.
- Slackdragon, on 11/07/2009, -0/+1When he's under water does he get wet?
Or does the water get "him" instead?
Nobody knows... - sirducki, on 11/07/2009, -1/+2thats just calcum, your pretty stupid if you didn't know that
- Slackdragon, on 11/07/2009, -0/+1I live in south Louisiana and when I use tap water, it looks like weak tea. I only drink bottled and filtered water. I try to avoid even using the ice here.
The incidents of cancer here are higher than the national average. It's pretty disgusting.
Yet the locals say that it makes the food here have that distinct New Orleans flavor. Which may be true, I've read of chefs importing the local water for their New Orleans inspired dishes. Kinda like how New York style pizza doesn't really taste the same when made in other parts of the country. It needs that NYC tap water. - arethuza, on 11/07/2009, -0/+1Dead bodies are often full of the stuff.
- stonebear, on 11/07/2009, -0/+1Step away from the breeding kennel.
- Slackdragon, on 11/07/2009, -0/+1The "H" on the left-hand tap stands for "High", didn't you know that? Drink your Coke!
- Akairenn, on 11/07/2009, -0/+1"There must be something in the water, cuz all I see are bitches."
- cheezintern, on 11/07/2009, -0/+1or gives you cancer 10 years from now.
