- nullx42, on 12/21/2007, -0/+5A girl jesus, yes. A turkey jesus, yes. A male jesus, no.
- nullx42, on 12/21/2007, -2/+7You should be mad they taught you, essentially, that jesus was the result of parthenogenesis. Mammals with parthenogenic capabilities can only produce female offspring. Turkeys on the other hand are capable of both male and female offspring via parthenogenesis. So there in lies your problem, christians. Jesus was either a female, or a turkey. The choice is your's.
- buddyw, on 12/21/2007, -1/+6The Digg title gave me an idea - I want a copy of the Bible where every instance of the word "virgin" is in double quotes.
- latrosicarius, on 12/21/2007, -1/+5What hath man wrought!
- blindmelon1, on 12/21/2007, -3/+6Cool...
Not only can we "Play god"
We can now make Jesus!
:)! - amoirae, on 12/21/2007, -0/+3I can have my own personal Jebus?
- salinemist, on 12/21/2007, -0/+2Good question, especially when only adult stem cells have a history of actually working as a treatment.
- themonkman, on 12/21/2007, -1/+3This isn't exactly new. The realization of the potential of totipotent stemcells has been known for a few years now.
- nullx42, on 12/21/2007, -1/+3Science / 0 = OH SHI-
What has science done? - s0nicfreak, on 12/21/2007, -0/+1And women become one step closer to making men nothing more than their workhorses.
- likwidfuzion, on 12/21/2007, -0/+1I thought researchers found a way to use Digg users' stem cells.
- redfox2600, on 12/21/2007, -3/+4Why aren't they just using the stem cells that naturally form in bone marrow?
- madsci, on 12/21/2007, -0/+1well yeah the idea of using stem cells has been around. I believe the novel part is the successful procedure of getting stem cells from an unfertilized egg.
- Dokument, on 12/21/2007, -0/+1Science += 10
- worldnick, on 12/21/2007, -0/+0Despite the overwhelming movie evidence proving irrefutably that scientific progress is directly related to zombies I still like the idea of being able to recover from devastating liver disease.
- frosted, on 12/21/2007, -0/+0Jesus Christ! Stem cells are ungodly and unholy and god will cry and your hands will grow fur! Let's make an Evil Jesus to fight Jesus! This is going to be so cool!
- Dokument, on 12/21/2007, -2/+2Jesus Skin!
- nullx42, on 12/21/2007, -1/+1A.......HUUURRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!! ...you guuys!
- internjack, on 12/21/2007, -2/+1"a process known as parthenogenesis, a word that comes from Latin and Greek roots meaning virgin beginning". Fascinating!
Now i'm not as mad at the nuns for beating me up in parochial school. Imagine what a bank could be started in a convent! - Poco, on 12/21/2007, -2/+1I've heard that having sex with virgin stem cells will cure AIDS.
- Synova, on 12/21/2007, -2/+1Perhaps a hermaphrodite turkey.
- blindmelon1, on 12/21/2007, -2/+0Well, it would definitely bring a new meaning to the "Thanksgiving turkey", especially those who say grace before digging in.. !
