- jizzlies, on 01/30/2008, -0/+12And it makes a satsifying POP when it lands!
- FloorModel, on 01/30/2008, -0/+5imagine what this technology could do for the blow up sex toy industry.
- retral, on 01/30/2008, -1/+6and they only charge $300,000 per square foot!
- Terr01, on 01/30/2008, -0/+3Conspiracy theories? Ugh, that's so 1973...
- franksands, on 01/30/2008, -0/+3I saw this first in Final Fantasy (the movie), awesome idea.
- albatross5000, on 01/30/2008, -0/+3Reminds me of those landing blow-up pads they shot at the ground in Final Fantasy: Spirits Within after some uh...space marines jumped out of a spacecraft.
- hellosaysme, on 01/30/2008, -0/+2Nasa wouldn't buy it. The U.S. government know that it isn't worth buying something unless they spend at least a billion on it.
- Jektal, on 01/30/2008, -0/+1I saw this first in cars a long time ago, this new technology is not a new idea.
- tak84, on 01/31/2008, -0/+1What ever happened to good "old fashion" bubble wrap? I'm telling you, first it was instant coffee, than instant oatmeal and now this!?
- inactive, on 01/30/2008, -0/+1I saw this in Red Planet* a long time ago, this is old tech. If you don't agree you're wrong.
*Red Planet is a movie. - roxallot, on 01/30/2008, -0/+1POP! POP! POP!
- gregoryfenton, on 01/30/2008, -1/+2Everyone knows that bubble wrap was invented by some rival government to waste milions of man hours a year popping it - and now the governments are one supergovernment we see them spreading their evil addiction to the popically challenged beings of the universe - I foresee a universal drop in IQ levels for this peacekeeping mission..
- inactive, on 01/30/2008, -0/+1Didn't I see this stuff on an episode of Sin Cities?
- inactive, on 01/30/2008, -0/+1Airbags? Ugh thats so 1973. The covert world of the U.S. government already has operational anti-gravity, mass canceling technologies that have existed for quite sometime and have been implemented on a plethora of black budget projects. Why do you think NASA's budget is a measly 15 billion? Because there is a whole covert space program going on that requires over a 100 billion a year to finance.
- Terr01, on 01/30/2008, -0/+1They weren't blow-up pads, and they jumped out of an aircraft, not from orbit.
It was some bizarro nano-jelly or materia thumjingies.
You can see it here at 7:18 : http://youtube.com/watch?v=rXpkkZ3vQWQ - blackjack75, on 01/30/2008, -0/+1Let me guess... the german take care of the explosions and the swiss are in charge of selling the air?
- fredrated, on 01/30/2008, -0/+1This will become the next base jumping: jumping off of bridges, buildings etc. wrapped in this. Sounds fun to me!
- redmaxx, on 01/30/2008, -0/+1Isn't this just a miniaturized version of the landing device for the Mars exploration robots?
- RioMo, on 01/30/2008, -0/+1Here's an idea... why doesn't everyone comment on how old this technology is?
- ThinSpirit, on 01/30/2008, -0/+0Zoltan
- Neuro421, on 01/31/2008, -0/+0Forget about planetary landers. Why can't they equip these on Boeings?
- inactive, on 01/30/2008, -0/+0Interesting, send me your idea(s) at pointblank46@gmail.com , I'm willing to fund innovative ideas for the adult industry.
- roxallot, on 01/30/2008, -0/+0IT´S A TRAP!
- martinbrown0, on 01/30/2008, -1/+0This technology is not new.
