      1) The wikipedia article says that most beaked whales have only 1 or two pairs of teeth... this creature clearly has more.
      2) The wikipedia article says that only Sheperds Beaked Whale (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shepherd%27s_Beaked_W ... has a full set of teeth.
      3) The known range for Sheperds Beaked Whale is a zone around New Zealand/ Argentina. Thats pretty far from Russia, but the creature could have gotten lost or drifted elsewhere. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:Cetacea_range_m ...
      4) The female beaked whales usually don't have the teeth and the males usually have a bulging forehead. This creature appears to have a full set of teeth and no bulging forehead. (Possibly because it has decomposed?) Doesn't seem to fit the description.
      5) The fur doesn't seem to fit any category. Odd.

        It's surprising, because most of the flesh is gone, and what's left looks more like decaying scales, but it's obviously a highly decomposed beluga. The "fur" is just rutting flesh and mold.
