Other animals, like bees, see colors in the ultraviolet spectrum that humans don’t, perceiving patterns on flowers invisible to the human eye." - AmyVernon, on 10/06/2008, -0/+6The most interesting part to me was that the blue color in animals wasn't created by pigments, but rather by "structures" that absorb light in varying ways. And that also affected the greens. Just shows that the more we learn, the less we realize we know.
