OK, yes, the magnetic pole is going to switch and we will cross the ecliptic of the Galaxy, Mayan calendar ends because -- well, planning your day to day more than a thousand years past the end of a 13,000 year cycle seems a bit of an overkill.

That date marks the end of the Mayan Long Count Calendar which began 5125 years ago.
