I'd have needed a space the size of the Superdome instead of the 20'x30' room I had, and there'd be about a zillion-to-one chance it would all work in one shot without a fizzle. (The sequence with the tin duck on a bicycle took about a dozen takes. Arrggghhh, tin duck ;)
In my defense, usually when I make a gadget, I record it in a single take, but they usually don't last six minutes either. Pardon the bad image quality--it was my first time with a professional studio camera (no lessons, not even written instructions) and I had no conception of 'white balance' at the time. I didn't have lights except strongly-yellowish incandescent bulbs in the room, and one of the three .vob files I had to work with was seriously corrupted. In addition, the Revver file was based on a low-res 4.4 MB Windows Media file I crunched down from the 240 MB MPEG version (!!). 4.4 MB is very little for a six-minute video, so there was some serious loss of definition, but I wanted a file size that was downloadable on dial-up connections. Ideally, I'd like to make Hi-Def videos when I can afford a camera, and I've even taken a professional videography course this summer, so hopefully the image quality will be better in the future... - adezero, on 10/12/2007, -4/+6first, that was lame. second can digg topics please refrain from using the word "ever" it's just stupid
