  • hiplobonoxa, on 07/16/2009, -1/+16i had an opportunity to see the skeleton on display several months ago at the museum of northern arizona. although the species may be new, the genus, nothronychus, was first described in 2001. many people don't realize that dinosaur names are actually the names of genera and not the names of species. therizinosaurs are an interesting group with many known examples, all sporting the large hand claws. ironically, they were most likely herbivores.
