- Truedirt, on 11/12/2009, -2/+14Always trust your gut. I do, which is leading me to believe that I need a Big Mc and a large Coke right now.
- TheFuzzyOne, on 11/13/2009, -0/+6Wanna trade? 6'3" 310lbs, and I bike 10 miles every day.
- MacBookForMe, on 11/12/2009, -2/+8a Big Mc and a bacon, pls
- fragMasterFlash, on 11/13/2009, -0/+5Without gut micro flora the goodness that is cheese would never have existed.
- Gndoab, on 11/13/2009, -0/+5Growing up, my mother was diabetic, and as such, we never had sweets in the house. at this point, I'm 23, and I have absolutely no sweet tooth. there is probably some relation there, although this is obviously only anecdotal
- stockwitch, on 11/12/2009, -2/+5V. interesting - wonder what will come of this.
- Frankzulla, on 11/12/2009, -0/+3Dugg for the donuts, stayed for the bacteria.

- Gndoab, on 11/13/2009, -0/+2nope. I never have a craving for sweets, mainly because I never had them. I think that this is at least part of the biological part to it.
I could go the rest of my life with fruit, vegetables, grains, and meat. no desire whatsoever for candy or chocolate, or anything. occasionally, I'll have a hot chocolate and kalua (spelling that wrong...the alcohol), but even then, it's more for the kialua.
to be fair, when I marinade a steak, I normally use about a tablespoon of sugar along with whatever else I'm using at the time, and I'll put sugar and cinnamon on toast to go with eggs, but that's about all of my sugar intake. I don't even drink soda all that often. not a holier than thou thing, I just have literally no desire to do so. more than a can of coke a day makes me kind of sick. - andrewtheart, on 11/13/2009, -0/+2I don't care, cinnamon rolls are worth it.
- flyinfoofighter, on 11/13/2009, -0/+1You're doing it wrong!
- AlienMushroom, on 11/13/2009, -0/+1Germs have feelings too...
- Gndoab, on 11/13/2009, -0/+1I do brazilian ju-jitsu...I just want lots of meat after Im done. nothing sweet. I eat a healthy amount of fruit each day though, maybe thats why.
- sanman, on 11/13/2009, -2/+3It seems breast-feeding is the best weight-loss method for women:

Ladies, if you need any help... - andrewtheart, on 11/13/2009, -0/+1Not even when you're extremely stressed / tired? I'm like you in a way but when I get extremely depressed, tired, or anxious, candy and sweets are definitely tempting.
- vagitoe, on 11/13/2009, -1/+1Am I the only one who thought of "I Am Legend" when reading this?
- ViniferaEtOH, on 11/13/2009, -0/+0Does a steady diet of antibiotics equal anorexia?
- hardgeek, on 11/13/2009, -1/+1very interesting information.... No more donuts!!!! .... oh no....
- Zippo, on 11/13/2009, -1/+1I don't know what the ***** goes on in my gut... all I know is that I eat take out pretty regularly and never exercise... and I'm still 6'1"/130lbs. It's a family thing... all my family is thin. No matter what I do or eat, I'm still skinny.
- Aquileria, on 11/13/2009, -0/+0Do you do hard exercise? My brain starts to fail during weight lifting/interval training after an hour if I don't get sugars (I usually have a banana afterwards). Other than that my sweet tooth disappeared after college, I mostly crave subtle tastes now like different tea flavors or different types of grains.
- dk75eclipse, on 11/13/2009, -1/+1Did anyone else want to go out any buy a dozen donuts after seeing that pic?
- Aquileria, on 11/13/2009, -2/+2My stomach must be like the Ganges River valley of bacteria colonies, I eat so much yogurt every day it's ridiculous, they're probably having a party down there like in those commercials where the cartoon toe fungus is playing in a jazz band on your foot.
- eleanorigby, on 11/13/2009, -3/+2 This is why taking pro-biotics or eating yogurt is important.
