- aviator53z, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Deelicious! Pottsc, you've done it again. I would argue, however, that the olive brine is overkill. The olive itself will impart that slightly salty bite and looks OOH StkwchOO RIGHT.
- ThePottsDome, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Yes, I see your point. The brine being the "dirty" part of the F.D.R. martini is a acquired taste.
- yukon111, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0huh? no lemon?
- ThePottsDome, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Ahhh, someone who knows the vermouth spray technique ! Hmmm, the plot thickens.
- ThePottsDome, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0cont. As always the discussion came back to a mod of the "Legend". My try was add the ingredients of a Dirty Martini, also called a F.D.R., which is a simple add of half a teaspoon of olive brine from the olive jar. Think it ended there ? F.N. ! It went from a civilized discussion to a down right brawl that to make it right a garlic stuffed olive should be involved. When things settled down and the dog showed back up, I was able to name the mod "The Ticket Punch".
