- Boondoggle, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1That is cool. This is what makes Digg cool.
I can find Xbox news an AJAX how-tos in a lot of places, so I hope that people start submitting more stories like this. - dgath, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I thought that said "The 11-Year Quest to Create Disappearing Colored Babies". I was like... WTF?
- jack45208, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1So cool.... but taking too long to get into production & into stores.
- ManiacFive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0This is awesome!

- Apricot, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I'm sure this will cause cancer, but damn it will look cool along the way.
- Thundercat1971, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Hey, did you used to blow Bubbles when you were a kid?
Well, he's back in town and he's been asking for you! - PhairOh, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Quite possibly the greatest success story I've ever read. Beautiful. Just, beautiful.
- ThePhilomath, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0This is probably the best story i've heard,....ever. Now to steal the idea of bouncing bubbles....
- Ffats, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0FRIGGIN' AWESOME. Story very well written by those over at Pop Science.
DIGG +10 - deathBOB, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Awesome!
- tortxof, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0There's a TV ad already running for the finger paint mentioned in the article. The finger paint disappears unless it is on the special paper. Awesome!
- aerialonyx, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0What an inspiring story. Exploding bubbles as well...mmm...
- CorpT, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Just a great story. Great find. I can't wait for them to come out!
- nymphetamine, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0ooooo....pretty bubbles....
- oldcyborg, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I can't see far enough to even imagine how far the discovery will go!! This is tremendous. The bubble are great, but that will be only a tiny part of it!

- Dirtydog, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0^Glad I wasn't the only one.^
-Josh - mcletter, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Lmfao, that's exactly what I thought too.. Maybe they need to rethink the title :P
- Krusz, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0That is fricken awesomee, I'd love to see this on diggnation.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Slashdot picked up the story today too.. guess where they got the news from
- greensky, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Color remained elusive, but his try-anything approach kept plenty of other strange bubbles floating across his kitchen. One exploded with a loud bang.
I want some exploding bubbles! - lamprey187, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1I dugg this simply because it was not related to the 360 or the intel mac release....yay for bubbles
- silvermask, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0This is the coolest thing I've seen all week, if not all month. I love it!
- tirion, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Thoses guys are frigging awesome. Wish I could do something like that someday.
- yeehawjared, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0stories like this make digg worth my time.. can't wait to try out a bottle when they come out. I'm getting black, mainly to test it out on white clothing and paper
- Rabid_Llama, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0This is really damn cool, and my inner child will require a bottle when they come out. I'm thinking blue or orange.
I am a touch skeptical about just how well the dye goes away. I don't doubt that the color fades, but will there be a residue on everything it touches or what? It remains to be seen.... - phishyJon, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0awesome story! colored bubbles are pretty cool, but im more excited about the other products that can be produce with this new dye.
Digg++ - glitchbit, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I can see this being applied to paintball guns.
- Yeabudy, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0This is by-far the best story I have seen on the Digg homepage.
Way to go, Pacino!

- daurkin, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0This is dugging Awesome
- glitchbit, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0when I was around 10 I think, I tried a lot of experiments with bubbles and mixing them with different chemicals and stuff but I grew out of that. It was fun though, I remember creating a bubble that would not pop easily but even then it only lasted about 15 and 20 seconds on the surface it landed on not the 5 minutes that spinmaster did which back then they were not around. I also even had some bubbles that would bounce too but like that guy I had an extremely difficult time recreating the bubbles. I even remember mixing them together with the color stuff you throw into the fire place to try and give em color, the bubbles still worked but no color indeed.
- plasticmind, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Amazing story! I read every page of the PopSci story! Kudos!

+digg - dansmusings, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Awesome story - I can't wait to get some of these ... for my kids, yeah for my kids. Can't wait till you can get them in stores!!!!!
- effigy, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I hardly think this is a dupe as the other link does not lead to the well written in depth article. Excellent Digg.
- sho222, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0This is easily the best story I've ever seen on Digg. Great find.
And to glitchbit, the reason that this Digg is better than the one that vincente sumbitted is that this links to the excellent Popluar Science article, whereas his story linked to some lame blog. A good example of why some diggs succeed where others fail. -
