    Everyone in science knows he's just fluff. Apparently, his marine study was fundamentally just a trick to have his sailing boat funded and tax exempt. The 'artificial life' is even lamer: it's just a new attempt at synthesising long stretches of DNA. Even worse 'his' genome sequencing. Celera started sequencing his genome before 1998 and it got published it this year only. Just PR.
