- mcspectrum, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1So when do I get the drug that induces this immediately so I can sleep for 2 hours and be good to go?
- JohntB, on 10/12/2007, -0/+021.0:
Actually, it's probably TMS (Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation).
Among other things, I've heard that TMS can be used to simulate autism and increase drawing ability, but the evidence is scant. At least now we know that it can do at least one useful thing. - 21.0, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0i believe thats an EEG that stimlates areas of the brain for testing purposes-but I don't pay too much attention in psych class...
- jumjum, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Hopefully the brain chemichal Orecksin (sp?) can be used in oral pill form so we never have sleep again if we don't want to. Our brain disconnecting like that everyday could be a bad thing, like if you turn off/on your computer alot, it's likely to wear down the hard drive as hard drives hardly ever go bad & unusable "in flight". Just keep it turned on and go; noone's ever died of natural straight brain failure, but daily disconnections could be bad for our other organs.
- SlappyMc, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I learneded all that in grade 2
- jumjum, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Good Lord, look how I spelled 'chemical'.

Coffee - doofus, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0This study does not apply to everyone because half the users on digg do not possess a brain.
- FunkyWitDaSysTm, on 10/12/2007, -2/+0ok, the phrase "careened around the noggin" makes this article worth digging, all on its own.
but seriously, this is further evidence supporting theories that your brain, just like your body, also needs rest. fascinating anyhow. i'm really interested in this "non-invasive" procedure they used to stimulate parts of the brain, and how it was for the subject to experience these "stimulations". - dna42fan, on 10/12/2007, -3/+0^^What is wrong with you!!! Quit spamming the damn posts.
