- pinchduck, on 11/10/2009, -0/+13If you retire now, you won't be able to drink legally in Michigan for 13 years.
- IHATEHIM, on 11/10/2009, -1/+10i'm 18 years old and what is this
- parabola9, on 11/10/2009, -0/+7Coincidentally, a lot of people will have to retire 10 years later thanks to their 401ks and pensions getting decimated in the past year. Many will work until they die.
- Shaggy6ster, on 11/10/2009, -1/+8Too bad ten years younger than "retired" is still old.
- appleseed1234, on 11/10/2009, -1/+8I thought working seniors tended to live longer because it provided physical and mental stimulation, rather than zoning out watching The Price is Right?
- KnightWhoSaysNi, on 11/10/2009, -0/+6Well, I got laid off early this year and the three months that I was unemployed were the most relaxing time I've ever had.
I might even say I felt younger.
Working sucks... who knew? - Yage2006, on 11/10/2009, -0/+4after dailymails anti-science rant last week I am just going to bury this as tabloid trash.
- tgc1, on 11/10/2009, -0/+4Well there's something that nobody under 45 is ever going to feel. More than likely we're all going to die of stress.
- Palestrina, on 11/10/2009, -0/+4Retirement?! What's that? The way this administration is leading us, that's a word that will leave the English lexicon for good. People are coming OUT of retirement, thanks to Barney Frank and Chris Dodd.
- Ac1115, on 11/10/2009, -0/+3Daily Mail = tabloid trash
It's no better than national inquirer, etc. - SuperCujo, on 11/10/2009, -0/+3Or they start nagging their children and sticking their nose in where it isn't wanted...

- brbeaird, on 11/10/2009, -1/+3And then die because they have no further purpose in life.
- SarahC, on 11/10/2009, -0/+2Why don't we have unions again?
- etotheiPi, on 11/10/2009, -0/+2Im one of those who will die at their desk. Im 62 and between lack of funds and needing my company-provided health care, I will most likely die at my desk. In fact, 2 months ago, a co-worker did just that. So, someday I will be found clutching my mouse and slumped over the keyboard. I have warned those close to my desk to expect to find a cold corpse in my cubicle. Corpse being me.

- seaofcheese, on 11/10/2009, -0/+1I read "stupid people" at first. Ha i would have had something to look forward to!
- wilhoitm, on 11/10/2009, -0/+1Obama will fix that! LOL! I am just kidding! ;-)
- thatruth101, on 11/10/2009, -1/+2that's what our conglomerate overlords WANT you to think.
- mollydog12, on 11/10/2009, -0/+1better than retirement is getting the kids out of the basement and pulling their own weight. chrsit, having to feed those parasites will kill a man.
- MattBD, on 11/10/2009, -0/+1I think it depends what you do. If you're working in a factory on the production like that offers little mental stimulation, but if you get to engage the brain cells then that's different. My grandfather got bored after he retired and went back to work as a director of a car dealership. And look at Stephen Hawking - he's at an age where most people have retired but he's taking up a new position. A lot of scientists and people like that who are passionate about what they do wouldn't enjoy retirement.
- hamfister, on 11/10/2009, -1/+1...And they still die at the same age they would've if they were still working.
- mheyk, on 11/10/2009, -0/+0Looks like its time to find a way to live without money
